Fantastic tasting Prix fix meal - Edit
We had dinner on a Saturday evening. The Prix fix provided two options for starters, three for main courses and two for desserts. There were four of us so we were able to try all of the options and found them all to be delicious and well made. There was indoor and outdoor seating, but be sure to make a reservation if you want to sit outside on a busy night.

I went there with a friend for her birthday. It's in a nice location, the staff is very friendly and no matter what you take, it's extremely delicious. They only gave us the menu of the day but I guess there are some more options (but really just take anything and get surprised). We both had the menu (entrée, plat, dessert) for 21€ each. So worth it. If I'll ever come back to Marseille I'll go there again for sure!

Succulent!! Tasted amazing - Edit

We had the best vegan lunch ever and I was with non-vegan persons! They all love the falafels, the Chia seeds desert and the fact that all was organic, handmade and local! Moreover, it was very cheap (20€ for starters, main plate and the desert!). I highly recommend it!!
Pros: VEGAN, LOCAL, HANDMADE/FAIT MAISON AND DELICIOUS
Cons: None/aucun

Super resto - Edit
Resto 100 % vegan a recommandé !

Good veggie burger - Edit
A gold selection of vegan food. I had the veggie burger which I can highly recommend. Price around 14 euro for a meal and 26 for a full menu can be considered fair based on the quality. Nice surroundings and polite staff. Overall all a great visit!

Cute but small portions - Edit
Good Location and nice outdoor seating. Flavour of the food wasn't too great and also the portions a little to small. We went to the Vietnamese place around the corner afterwards which had a lot of vegan options.

Great little place - Edit
We were the first customers this day, initially confused whether it was vegan or veggie but all turned out to be vegan. We both had vegan cheese burgers which were great, desserts also available but we were stuffed.

Poor ratio quality and quantity/price - Edit
We tried this vegan restaurant with non-vegan friends trying vegan food for the 1st time. We choosed it because it was one of the only opened for dinner in Marseille.
Read moreThe food was good but had nothing special and we paid 30 euros only for a tofu burger, vegetable gnocchis and a lemon tart. The menu at 25 euros does not include drink.
Maybe it was because of the Music festival that night but the service was long and noisy (owner was repeatedly correcting one of the waiter in front of us), the staff was stressed and unefficient...
We left a bit disappointed and still hungry, we needed a burrito 30 min later...

Super and vegan - Edit
Super resto 100% vegan dans Marseille, sur le cours julien qui est un très bel endroit. Prix très abordable, 5-6 choix de plats dispo et 3 desserts. Je recommande le burger! Really cool 100% vegan restaurant, on the Cours julie which is a beautiful place. Cool price, good food! Test the burger

Great food, great people - Edit
Every time I go to this restaurant, I say that I can't wait to be back. The food is tasty, the dishes are pretty, service is good and the prices are reasonable. The coffee tastes great and is served in interesting vintage cups. Everyone I bring there leaves happy and satisfied, vegan and meat-eaters alike. The boss is the friendliest guy in the world.
Read moreThere are about 6 dishes to choose from, one of them being a vegan burger (the others change with the seasons). There is a 26 euros menu that includes a starter, a main and a desert. Wine is alright, not the best I've tried though. Several delicious gluten-free options for everything.
Pros: great food and atmosphere, friendly staff, gluten-free options
Cons: the red wine could taste better

delicious lunch - Edit
I've been here this summer with my boyfriend (vegan) and my grandmother (not vegan at all).
Read moreIt was lunch time and there were not many people in the restaurant, the owner was really friendly and discussed with us.
I had a uge vegan composed plate with cake, vegetables pastry, lentil puree, chickpeas, greens, vegetables pancakes, and brown rice. I guarantee that I was not hungry after that and everything was delicious !
My boyfriend had a vegan tajine made with carrot, potatoes, sweet onions and almond, served with semolina. My grandma had vegetables lasagna (vegetarian plate).
The restaurant is vegetarian but there is some vegan choices clearly indicated, so it's easy to eat vegan here.
It was a delicious lunch in a friendly place !
Pros: delicious food, friendly owner

Friendly place for vegans and vegetarians - Edit
We had dinner with two friends who are not vegetarian. And every one enjoyed his/her meal. I took the falafels and panisse as a starter. It was really good with two different vegan dressings. Then, I took the vegan risotto that was excellent: good texture, good taste, creamy. And finally, they had only one vegan dessert, a cake with orange and cinamon that was good.
Read moreThe atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and relax, the owner is very friendly and discusses often with customers. I paid 25 euros for my three-course-meal which is a little pricey but not exagerated in comparison to the food quality.
Pros: tasty food, vegan options, friendly staff, nice atmosphere
Cons: a little pricey

Great Place - Edit
Excellent restaurant with options for vegans and vegetarians. Compares favorably to anything in New York of California in the same price range. I didn't see any meat or fish on the menu. Opens for dinner at 7:30. Great place to sit outside and enjoy the plaza. Live music some nights.

Le Cours en Verte, Marseille - review, dinner - Edit
During my Marseille trip I visited this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening in March. This family owned restaurant is cozy, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. They offer a daily changing menu with starters, main courses and desserts, as well as a wide selection of herbal infusions, tees, hot and cold drinks. Although the restaurant is mainly focused on organic food, there is always at least one vegetarian option for the three courses, as well as the owner and manager welcoming any vegans at all times. Their cuisine offers a variety of creative dishes with fresh, organically grown ingredients and always a personal touch. As the owner is a fan of music, a jazz band performs every Thursday evening, as well as Saturday evening entertainment being offered. The restaurant is open during the week and on weekends from morning to evening which is great, as other vegetarian restaurants in Marseille are closed during the weekends and in the evenings.
Read moreI had a raw vegan salad with fresh herbs for a starter (other options would have been lentil cream soup-vegan, or a selection of cheese), black rice with home-made vegan sausage, and a fresh fruit salad with a special home-made sugar dressing of herbs de Provence, meaning regional hand picked herbs. The band playing latin violin and piano music was a real treat, very authentic and offered great entertainment. Including some organic red wine and water, the dinner cost around 25 Euro.
I would really recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by Marseille, as the owners and staff are very friendly (children in the restaurant are very welcome, with a selection of games to choose from as well), very open minded and flexible in attending to customers preferences, the location is nice (infront of a pond in the city center where local markets take place), parking is easy, the food is excellent, fresh and organic, they offer a variety of entertainment and welcome young musicians, it is culturally very diverse concerning clientele and employees, and everyone seems to have had a great time there!
Pros: excellent, organic, fresh food, flexible, tolerant, friendly, open staff, family friendly
Cons: decoration, a bit more expensive compared to similar
