Leckeres Essen - Edit
Das Essen war echt lecker, wir hatten einen Caesar Salad sowie Linsenbällchen. Beide Gerichte haben echt gut geschmeckt und schmeckten frisch zubereitet. Einziges Manko: die Portionen waren für 8€ doch recht klein, allerdings war das im Anbetracht der Frische und des Geschmacks dann wieder in Ordnung!

Les plats etaient bons mais sans grand travail des produits. Cela manque de savoir -faire et de quantité pour le prix proposés (14,50 le midi) ( nous n'avons néanmoins pas goûté les entrées et les desserts). Nous en sommes ressorties déçues (et pas rassasiées!).

Visited during a guest chef week. On this occasion the menu was Moroccan with a good amount of entrées and two mains.

Service was a little slow but it was very very busy so this was understandable (be sure to book).
Staff were super helpful in explaining the menu and generally very friendly helping as we only spoke a little French.

Mariposas is more of a snack bar than a real restaurant. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, but it is improvised and rather uncomfortable. The service was rather poor. There is no menu in English. The French menu was on a board that was larger than the table and was handed to the guests in turn. The food was ok, but not particularly good. But it was quite expensive.

Da premiare anche solo per essere un locale 100% vegano nella zona. In più sono attenti alla sostenibilità delle materie prime e del lavoro.

Farinata con verdure e crema di peperoni semplice e molto buona
Tofu con zucchine crude e vinaigrette alle Arachidi e zenzero meritava veramente.
Buoni anche il cannellone (una melanzana grigliata avvolta intorno a ragù vegetale) e i due dolci (uno al cioccolato Con cuore cremoso servito con gelato al limone, ottimo come contrasto di consistenze e freschezza ; l'altro una cheesecake al limone).
Personale molto gentile, qualche fatica dovuta al locale che era pienissimo un martedì sera, non avevamo prenotato, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare lo stesso!

Mariposas serves home style french food, apperently everything is vegan (yay!) and organic (don't care!). We came in around lunch time and had two different main dishes. The eggplant with lentils and rice was pretty good, the grilled zucchini dish could have used some more spices tbh. Still, we enjoyed the meals a lot.

Everything was tasty and delicious. Fresh and good quality products and wine. Portions are indeed a bit small, which is ok regarding the quality and sourcing of the ingredients, but I was still hungry after one starter and one main. I think it could be avoided by adding a bit more cereal/carbs to the dish to make it a bit more heavy and fulfilling.

A place like this cannot be underestimated and would have its place even in cities with many other vegan restaurants. But in France, even in Marseille this restaurant is simply an oasis for vegan food lovers.

Après 3 repas à des moments différents chez mariposas, je retiens que le personnel est globalement stressé et pas très accueillant. Les plats sont bons mais en très petites quantités… c’est dommage d’avoir encore faim en quittant le restaurant.

Bonjour Camille, nous sommes désolé que l'expérience chez Mariposas n'ai pas été concluante, neomoins j'aimerais vous rappeler que les produits que vous avez dans l'assiette sont bio et locaux. Et De filières vertueuses . Du coup les prix doivent être à ce niveau. Une assiette à 15eu aujourd'hui avec un quard de chou fleur, une purée de pommes de terre et une compotés d oignons c'est du travail humain qu'il faut aussi rémunérer à sa juste valeur. Le travail est dans le goût qui vous a plu, pas dans les quantités, peut en ayant pris une entrée l'équilibre aurait pu se faire. Parfois nous sommes stressé car bcp de monde aussi, nous sommes désolé de n'avoir pas pu prendre plus soins de vous. Une prochaine fois peut être, ou pas...

The food here is very tasty, freshly made and is vegetable-based, so it is very healthy. We went there as a group of three and tried everything of the menue and liked everything very much. It is a bit pricey tho and portions are not that big (we didn‘t really have lunch that day and walked a lot - two of us still were a little hungry even after having a starter and a maindish). What I really loved was that they had a good non-alcoholic wine😄
