Getting worse - Edit

Mariposa is dedicating less shelf space to veg/local products and carrying more meat, low-quality junk, and big brand crap. Every time I go in, they’ve cancelled a thing that I used to buy and replaced it with lower-quality and non-vegan items. A lot of the “natural” food they feature is full of animal ingredients that don’t need to be there: candy with gelatin, “dark” chocolate with milk, all kinds of baked goods with eggs, etc. It’d be one thing if this were a NYC-style market packed with thousands of different things, but instead Mariposa is a limited resource market caught in an identity crisis.

Vegan/plant based heaven - Edit

Ran into this little gem by chance and was delighted and amazed by the variety and quality of products & produce available… this place is now my go too for everything I need. Simply epic 🙌🏽

Mariposa is great! - Edit

I love Mariposa Food Co-op. Beautiful location, great selection of produce as well as other vegan groceries such as fake meats, nondairy milks, and vegan baked goods including Dottie's Donuts and Vegan Treats. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Anyone can shop, you don't have to be a member-owner!
