This Man Would Go Again - Edit
Fraught with indecisiveness as to what particular type of food I wanted, this restaurant seemed like the ideal venue in which to quell my indifference - though it wasn’t without its potential pitfalls. With an eclectic menu that draws upon influences from a diverse range of cuisines, there was definitely a danger that each offering would be a cheap facsimile of what it was trying to emulate. Quite impressively though, this was most assuredly not the case.
Read moreTo start, I amassed a selection of items from the ‘Street Kitchen’ section. Light, delicate vegetable samosas, two variations of crisp, well-seasoned fries, and a basket of bigger-than-anticipated tangy, flavoursome tomato momos all served to get things off very much on the right track. Alongside these nibbles, I also ordered what transpired to be a hearty, rich, superbly saline bowl of manchow soup.
For the main event, the jungle curry (a name that made me feel a touch uncomfortable, for some reason) was the contender of choice. Reminiscent of a chip shop sauce - which certainly wasn’t a negative - it was again a decent portion of quality fayre, backed up ably by a raft of warm, soft, pillowy roti.
While it may never have attained full authenticity with any particular dish, with solid, enjoyable food across the board, it’s difficult for me to find any reason not to recommend giving this place a try.

They have very few vegan options and gave us a cream based dipping sauce with our samosas eventhough we clearly asked for vegan food. When we finished our food they asked us to leave and claimed that there were other people waiting for a table but when we left there was no one waiting and a lot of tables were empty. Overall pretty bad experience.
