Great staff, great food, great ambience, what more can I say! I brought two non vegans and they both loved it too. Nicest bread and hummus we have ever had 😊

Great vegan fare, Hygge setting - Edit
Really great food, and a truly outstanding vegan cheesecake called fittingly called “orgasm.” We had Mexi salad, a rice curry dish, and tomato soup, all excellent. Also had a chocolate tahini smoothie that was fantastic. Highly recommend. We went two nights in a row and are even contemplating a third.

Wonderful. Food - Edit
With a tour group (16) so they gave us a preplanned menu. Couldn’t have been more blown away by the incredibly varied and amazing tastes of the 4 different “stews” we were given: African (my absolute favorite), Dahl, green curry, and “Chilly sin Carne”. They were accompanied by rice, and numerous fresh toppings. Then came dessert, with three offerings for each of us: a chocolate dipped bon bon with a nut paste center, a fruit topped peanut butter pie, and the “orgasm” (I kid you not), a berry topped cheesecake to die for!

Looks nicer than it tastes - Edit
We were here for a late lunch. I'm general the food looks very nice but itbtastes quite bland.
Read moreI ordered the rainbow sallad, they forgot the strawberries on it. When asking the staff, they seem confused whether there actually should be any on it. They came back with some chopped up in a tiny bowl. The soup of the day was also served in various sizes, so a bit uneven.

Delicious - Edit
We tried the west African and the chili bowls, and the naan. Both soups were delicious. The bread was also good but not really naan.

Decent food, not the best experience - Edit
When I got there, the lower level was mostly taken up by a large group. There were a couple of empty tables but I was told I couldn't sit there and taken upstairs. The upper level only has small tables that are knee height, meaning you're expected to eat a saucy curry dish while hunched over the table trying not to drip on your clothes. I found this extremely uncomfortable and asked the waitress if I could move to a slightly higher table that was empty, at which point she became cold and unfriendly.
Read moreTBH this place is quite expensive even by Reykjavik standards, and I would have expected a much better dining experience.
That said, the food was pretty good. I had the African stew which was delicious. The garlic naan was good but a little burnt. The "Orgasm" cheesecake was okay... served half frozen, so not quite orgasmic.
Probably wouldn't go back.

Just go and eat! - Edit
This laid back and friendly place is perfect to hang especially after a long flight and no sleep, OR walking around town and looking for great food that will please the entire gang.
Read moreLoved the salad, soup… everything. Portions were good. The flavors are tasty and fresh. They have hot sauce and other condiments to spice it up how you like. They have different coffees, drinks and beer and wine.
The smoothies are awesome.
Being in the middle of the tourist area, you can get public transportation nearby. Our rental apartment was a 15 minute walk. WE WILL EAT HERE EVERY DAY WE’RE IN REYKJAVIK!!

Amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere - Edit
My 11-year-old daughter and I absolutely loved this place! The food was not only delicious but also healthy and uplifting. We had Dhal à la Mama, West Africa, and Hummus & Friends - each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. Hummus & Friends was our favourite. We could truly taste the quality and care that went into every bite.

Oh my this was a tasty experience. After dithering for what seemed hours, I decided on the Africa Stew, naan bread and a take home cheesecake. Go every day if you can and try something different #Veganuary

Buoni piatti vegani - Edit
Pros: Piatti gustosi , Porzioni abbondanti, Location molto carina
Cons: Accoglienza molto distaccata, Poca scelta

Comfort food - Edit
The curries all sounded good; I eventually opted for the dal and my partner had the mama curry. Portion sizes were great and the extras on top were nice (chutney, nuts and tomatoes on mine). I would have preferred a sandwich but unfortunately they were all crossed off the menu.

Best vegan spot in Reykjavik - Edit
We ended up eating here every day on our trip, because nowhere else came close to providing a healthy vegan meal with a largely gluten free menu. Literally tried everything on the menu by the end. Ambience was also great. Highly recommend.
