Charming cafe!

Really loved the space and my soy milk tea was delicious! Loved the variety of cake flavors. The cookie I got was really good too!

Cons: Why even bother with cows milk??

Cute cafe with gluten-free cakes

This place produces a variety of gluten-free cakes most of which are topped with a coconut-based cream. The cakes generally look colorful and cute.

For beverages, there are coffee-based drinks, tea, lemonades, and even wine and beer. For latte beverages, you can choose between dairy, soy and almond milk.

The taste of what I had was surprisingly good for gluten-free cakes. The Earl Grey cake was moist and fluffy, whereas the Matcha cake was more crumbly and had a strong green tea flavor! They were also not intensely sweet, which made it a pleasantly not-so-guilty dessert time.

Prices, however, are quite high for the size of the pieces of cake: One small piece costs 8000 or 8500 KRW, and coffee starts at 5500 KRW.

The location of the cafe seems to play an important role, since it lies in the popular Hongdae area. The interior has a kind of antique flair to it (reminded me of European grandmothers lol) and is decorated with random old objects. It is frequented by couples who seem to see it as a romantic dating location with pretty and healthyish desserts. #Veganuary

Pros: taste good (for gluten-free cakes), big assortment of cakes

Cons: expensive

Nice atmosphere

The cakes are advertised as being healthy, and you can definitely tell. The cake was not very sweet and it tasted like bran, so it may not be for everyone. It was about 8000W for a slice of cake, which is kind of expensive. However the decor was very cute and there were many desserts to choose from.

Pros: instagram-able, cute cafe, lots of options

Cons: expensive, not the best cake

Fantastic ambiance and food!

This cafe is so fancy, yet cute. The photos really don’t do it justice. You have to go in person to check it out. It feels like a cafe in France mixed with a rich families dining room. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the coffee and cakes are delicious. I’ll be back frequently.
