We stopped in on the way to a gig and took out Rainbow Rolls, Crunch Rolls, California Tempura Rolls, Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Salad. All were divine! Having stopped eating animals when I was a kid, I don't think I've ever tried the fishy variety. Having a giant menu with everything edible was like a carnival. My daughter and husband equally enjoyed the feast. Next time, we'll probably eat in. The people were friendly and the ambiance was inviting.

Read moreThe first couple times we went there we didn’t even try the sushi because we like the Orange Chicken and Teriyaki chicken so much. Soo good!
But also the sushi is very good! Huge variety, very hard to pick.
As I was afraid that it would taste too fishy (not a big fan of the fish taste), we got some of the more “basic” special rolls. But neither the salmon or the crab were fishy tasting. Philly roll and California roll were good!
The desserts are tasty too, even though they are a bit more expensive relative to their size.
Highchair for babies available. Kids also get a paper cup with straw and their own paper plate with utensils.
They got super cute reusable bags for $3.

AMAZING sushi…. Like the best you’ll ever have! I have eaten vegan sushi when ever I can get my hands on some and non of them hold a light to this place. The Baked Lobster Roll, Seared Tuna sushi, and the Salmon Skin salad are must haves every time I eat here….
Read moreThe only part that doesn’t rock is going on a weekend night OR ordering take out on a weekend. Prepared to wait for 1.5 hours… it’s only because they are incredibly delish.
I suggest supporting this wonderful business during the week!

I lucked out on my way back from the beach when I looked for vegan restaurants. Ma-Kin makes the best sushi around. Their menu is extensive with so many great options. Their creative sushi rolls are loaded with delicious ingredients. If you like sushi- definitely visit Ma-Kin.
