Excellent

My son and I shared the tofu katsu and teriyaki chicken bowl. Portions are huge, 2 meals in one. Options were diverse. My son liked the teriyaki bowl better, it was just gardein chicken, frozen stir fry veggies over white rice covered in a basic teriyaki. I liked the tofu katsu which seemed like a more developed menu item, firm pressed tofu panko crusted and fried to perfection on top of shredded cabbage with a side of rice and purple sweet potato salad.

Pros: Price, Portions, Taste

Cons: Availability? Fridays at target.

Vegan surprise!

We were visiting on a combination business pleasure trip, and had to run into Target. We noticed Luna's in the Target parking lot. She was just getting set up for the day, and we were pleased and surprised to find a vegan truck just in time for early lunch. We both ordered the Teriyaki Chikn Bowl. There wasn't anywhere to eat, and we didn't want to eat in our car, so we drove to the park where the old Kona airport used to be and ate there.

Pros: Fresh vegan food in an unlikely location, Large servings

Cons: No place to eat

Fresh & Delicious

We had the Ono Ono Orange Cauliflower: Panko crusted cauliflower in a tangy homemade orange sauce, panko sweet potato topped with green onions. It was served with a side of white rice topped with furikake and purple sweet potato salad. It was amazing.

We also ordered their Green Flash & Go Monkey smoothies and they were very delicious.

Pros: Fresh Food, Quick Service

A refreshing change

The menu feels more locally rooted and (slightly) less oriented around imported fake meats than some places in Kona. We had the tofu chicken katsu, which was stellar—the chicken is just frozen tofu as far as I can tell, a treatment restaurants should use more—and the loco moco, which had a great sauce but absolutely didn’t need the beyond burger.

Delicious food, not open frequently

The food was really good. Had a lilikoi lemonade and the tofu katsu plate. They are only open at the food truck Fridays in the Target parking lot, so if you are around on a Friday, you should give it a try

Amazing food, terrible hours

They’re currently only open Friday nights at the Kona food truck night at Target. So I’m not sure why they even have breakfast stuff on their menu. Their food is amazing, although they were out of what we wanted to order when we got to the food truck night at 5. Overall I would say try to go because it’s delicious, but their hours and availability are frustrating.

Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Rarely ever open , Out of options already at 5pm

Delicious!

Great new option for breakfast or lunch in kona. They are completely vegan which simplifies a lot! Many whole food plant based options! 👏🏼🎉 just what kona needs more of! thank you!😊

Pros: Delicious , Clean, Convenient
