Luk What U Mades Me Do!

It was absolutely ludicrous that it took me so long to actually get this spot. All past attempts had been quashed by unexpected events or poor time management, but on this day, nothing was going to stop me – not even heart-stopping security alerts. (To be fair, where else is better to shelter than in the presence of fresh, intentionally vegan, fried balls of dough?!)
Safely ensconced in my ideal bunker, I decided to make the most of it by ordering a family-sized box of treats with which to happily while away the time until the all clear was given. In said collection were four different flavours: plain (with cinnamon sugar), jam, lotus biscuit, and date & sesame. While each variety had the unique flavours that their descriptions promised, they all had uniformity when it came to the texture of the lukumades themselves. Light, crisp, and without a hint of grease to be found, they were a textbook example of what these sinful little snacks should be. So good were they, in fact, that I couldn’t earnestly give you a definitive answer as to which was best; I simply just immensely enjoyed them equally.
On a side note, apart from the deliciousness that is the food itself, one of my favourite aspects of dining here was that the business opposite is one that touts body improvement solutions – the complete antithesis of what I was doing by ploughing through forty mini doughnuts.
Proofing as great as I had expected – if not more so – I will do my darnedest to make sure that I am not kept from returning here before too long.
