Edinburgh is a great city and all the more so because of Paradise Palms! Handy location and just a brilliant little spot, fun vibes, good drinks list, friendly staff, vibrant clientele and a solid menu of delicious eats.

It was a little chilly for my liking, although they'd only just opened for the day when we arrived.
Can't fault the place for anything really, 5* top notch 👍

I love this restaurant, it is quirky with a lovely vibe. Staff are friendly and are helpful. The food is delicious and the menu offers light bites and heavier meals. My only issue is offering to serve dairy.

For some reason, the only non-vegan item is cheese and if you ask to add cheese, the default is the non vegan one! Would be perfect if it was just a 100% vegan kitchen! The buffalo cauliflower (or buffalo chicken special) is REALLY GOOD!!! £7 cocktails Mon-Wed.

Food is overall excellent. Sxsw burger is delicious. The cajun jackfruit fries are the best ever. Bbq corn ribs were tasty. Service good. The cocktails could be a little better, as an avid cocktail drinker, I've tried them here on several occasions and never found one I really enjoyed. Could be better for the price.

I’ve been coming here since 2016 and this place is like a comfort blanket. Always great food and drinks. The mac is a staple classic, the philly cheesesteak fries are phenomenal. They introduced me to corn ribs and now I’m obsessed. I do miss the tofish bites sometimes!

This is the place I always recommend to tourists as it's in a great location, the food is delicious, the cocktails are great and the atmosphere is rad. For awhile the kitchen was closed a lot, but it seems to have gotten better now. One of my favourite mac and cheeses in the city and the burgers are delicious (I recommend the SXSW). Not the biggest fan of the frickles (too much batter) but there's plenty of choices and everything else I've tried has been great.

Edinburgh can be overwhelming on a short trip because it IS the most vegan friendly city with options everywhere, but this fun place was my favorite. Best loaded fries, bbq plate, they’re both mandatory to get.

Had the steak frite and wow it was delicious! Would definitely return here if I came back to Edinburgh. So nice to have so much choice. The flavour was amazing and we really enjoyed it. Had a lovely warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Definitely check this place out

Read moreDespite living in a part of the UK swamped with vegan restaurant options (Bristol), and having travelled all over the globe for work, I think this is the best vegan restaurant I've come across globally!
The menu is huge, and varied. Whilst many places find something they do well, focus on that and then do variations of it, this is a full blown multi-style menu and all 4 of the dishes we ordered were top tier!
Between us we shared Mac n cheese, southern fried seitan, dirty chilli cheese fries, and padron peppers. Each dish was super delicious, really well cooked and of a generous portion size! I'd also mention that this is the first time I've had padron peppers outside of Spain when it's actually been done properly and they were fantastic.
In addition to the food, we ordered two cocktails which aren't listed on the menu (caipirinha and Moscow mule) and without battering an eyelid they made them both perfectly.
Can't recommend this place enough. Not only was their food and drink simply amazing, the atmosphere was great and the staff were both professional and friendly!

Really good drinks, really good food. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but they have vegan cream liqueur (which means vegan White Russians and vegan Irish Coffees!), so they do still win over my affections for that. Aside from the vegan cocktails, their vegan burgers are pretty excellent, and their fries are also really good (they’re the thin stringy kind, which I’m a fan of). Also, the interior of the place is super cute!! Lots of neon lights and stuffed animals, it’s a really neat lil atmosphere. Plus, it's an LGBTQ+ friendly place, which is always comforting. I definitely want to go back to try their vegan wings and some of their other appetizers and things to see if they stack up to their burgers, even if it means paying more than I'd like for another vegan White Russian.

Cant get over how good this NY deli reuben style burger was! The texture if the seitan was exactly like donner meat but tasted like pastrami. With donner seasoning that would be an amazing kebab... anyway, we also got loaded meatball fries and Chipotle mac n cheese.

Delicious Southern food, including a banging mac'n'cheese, fried pickles, potato salad, and lots more. Huge menu of vegan food, with vegetarians able to specify they want cruel cheese etc. Everything was very tasty. Staff were absolutely lovely. The place is very queer-friendly, which I appreciated. Very much worth going out of the way for.

We came with our baby. First the greeter said that's fine but you need to be out by 8pm, which we said wasn't a problem. So she checked with her manager. We saw him look at us and laugh and then she came back and suddenly there were no seats, we could see plenty seats. It is hard to find vegetarian options, we had walked far with our baby, they could've at least been honest and polite and frankly this sort of rude treatment is unacceptable. Too laugh at anyone like that is gross. I thought vegetarians were more inclusive than others but no one else has ever treated us like that.
