pretty nice - Edit
Easy to find, close to the centre, nice staff, quite cheap. I liked the fact that you can get cold pizza slices! The vegetable one was really good!

great food and friendly staff - Edit
The Loving Hut has a good selection of quiche, sandwiches/wraps, raw desserts, a few soups and dips. I got the carrot ginger soup (it was delicious- they made it fresh and extra spicy on my request) with a veggie quiche warmed up, followed by a frozen ice cream and the chocolate pudding for takeaway. Everything was delicious. I stayed in to eat, but it's small and great for getting takeout. Definitely a place I could return to.

Friendliest staff ever ! - Edit
Besides the food that was really good (Pizza, quiche, muffin and chocolate mousse), I was shocked by how much the guy working there was friendly ! Loving hut sells vegan cheeses and he open some of the boxes to give us a taste. I wish a had a loving hut like this one in Paris...

Nice grab-and-go place for vegans - Edit
The first thing you see when you come into the Loving Hut is the staff smiling at you. They are so nice and so friendly it's hard not to like the place. We tried some wraps (very good!) and some sandwiches (a little bit too much bread and a bit dry, but OK), but the thing we liked the most were their chocolate muffins. They were so, so, so good! And they tasted really fresh, just like the ones I make at home. Definitely recommend!

Mixed experience - Edit
I'd love to get behind this place -- after all, it's vegan in Sofia, and is part of a good chain, if there's such a thing as a good chain: the Loving Hut.
Read moreAnd overall, it's really nice having it as an option. If I lived in Sofia, I'm sure I would make an occasional visit.
My experiences were mixed, however. One sandwich I had was good -- croquette with vegan cheese, and definitely tasty (though I have to admit it had not been heated all the way through). Other items I had on a separate visit -- some sort of veg & potato pie, and a cupcake -- were not super great. Especially the cupcake. And I think the main problem is that it's a 'reheat' place -- the food sits in the display case and is heated up for you (though I had to ask one time). This approach is ok in some cases, like a very busy deli. But the place is not really that kind of place, and the food is sitting around a long time, I think.
The other thing that surprised me in a bad way is that there didn't seem to be a whole lot of eco effort -- for example, the small platters to eat in were plastic. Sofia has a long way to go with recycling, so there is about a 99.9% chance those things are going in a landfill (in any case, the plastic was uncoded). Why not use something compostable?
I am feeling charitable enough to give them 4 stars, particularly since I would definitely return on occasion for a quick sandwich if I were a Sofia resident. I just wish it could be better!
Pros: All-vegan, Inexpensive, Sandwiches are good
Cons: Food sits around, Not very eco

Amazing food, the nicest staff, highly recommended - Edit
The best Loving Hut so far! My boyfriend and I visited Sofia a couple weeks ago and went to Loving Hut twice in one day! The food is delicious, but the staff is what makes the place really shine! Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness! Keep on the good work! Greetings from Slovenia! :)

Perfect place! - Edit
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Sofia.
Read moreIt is not really a restaurant, it is a "fast food" type of place but very pleasant. If you are on the go, you can grab a delicious sandwich or a muffin.
The prices are a bit high compared to similar non-vegan places but if you are vegan, it is worth it :)

A great addition to eating options in Sofia - Edit
The above review is pretty spot on. The place is small and was busy when we visited (on a Sunday). The service was very friendly but not very fast. The food was great. We had a couple of sandwiches, a wrap, quiche and some sort of dessert balls. The bread the sandwich rolls were on was delicious. They had a few options. While they were "meat" it's not fake meat in the processed sense, more some sort of burger they're making themselves. We enjoyed everything we ate and would eat here again.

Good Start - Edit
Have only tried the chocolate muffins and they are to die for! Even though in the menu says they are made of carob, in fact it is chocolate. I am not so keen on the mock cheeses and meats.. so the only other thing they offer is the quiche, which unfortunately finishes quickly, so every time I go it is sold out. Super friendly stuff! Need to speed up a bit, though! Hope to see an updated menu as it is truly the first all vegan place in Sofia! No honey, etc.

Cons: Super busy, Emphasise on the mock meats/ cheeses, Not such a great variety of dishes
