Must Visit!! - Edit
We are from NorCal but every time we go down south I schedule in at least one Little Barn stop on the way. Their menu is beautifully extensive in vegan brunch options, and so many types of lattes! A tiny lovely spot in a residential area makes Little Barn a hidden gem. My order is the monte cristo and a flavored matcha latte (banana, strawberry or coconut), and my partner gets the Jade's chickn "egg" sandwich (which I can confirm is also fire). The street corn cup is also a tasty addition to our feast these days. I have 100% confidence you will enjoy whatever you order!

Cons: No bathroom, plan accordingly!

Adorable spot - Edit
Cute spot, appreciated the LGBTQ welcoming, and all vegan items. I ordered the tofu sausage scramble. It was tasty. It came in a to go container with a paper bag. Given there is a patio onsite you can sit at all the packaging seemed wasteful.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch - Edit
Stopped by for some breakfast noms. Ordered a mocha latte, tofu scramble with sausage, biscuit with maple syrup, and the chicken ceaser salad.
Read moreThe scramble was a bit small, hence the extra food. I would say the prices are just a dollar or two too high for the amount of food received.
Everything did taste pretty great and no regrets on that end. The only seating is outside in the back. Probably sits about 20 or so with some smaller tables and one larger table, more communal style. Mostly all shaded. Requires taking a few steps.
I didn't notice anywhere for trash, so took everything with me in the paper bag the food came in. Probably more of a takeaway food joint than dine-in.

Amazing food and a cute place! - Edit
Everything I’ve had here is so good. The tamales are amazing and you would never know they are vegan. The chicken sandwich is amazing too and so are the pastries. It’s super cute too with a walk up window and outdoor seating behind the building.

Great little neighborhood café - Edit
We love Little Barn for brekky, and they make good burritos for any time of day. There’s a cozy seating area in the backyard. The place is very popular with locals and the few seats out back tend to fill up. There is usually street parking available either right out front or somewhere on the block.

Not worth it - Edit
I deeply regret spending my money here. I grew up in the area and I was excited to support a queer, Latina owned business.
Read moreThe only seating is in a very small outdoor patio out back that is not wheelchair accessible. They do not offer Wi-fi.
I paid nearly $30 for a breakfast burrito and regular coffee. They up charged me $1 for oat milk (ridiculous at a vegan place). The soyrizo breakfast burrito was a whopping $18! I could not believe it. It’s honestly offensive.
Cons: Overpriced, No wi-fi

We had the tofu scramble, breakfast burritos and a caprese sandwich. It was all very tasty, but we imparted a fair amount of money and left hungry :(

Visited this place a couple of weeks back for brunch and absolutely fell in love. The food was delicious and unique. They have a small patio in backside and dogs are allowed there. Service was great. Will definitely go back. #Veganuary

Biscuits & Breakfast Burritos - Edit
Have had the Bacon Biscuit, Breakfast Burrito, Bacon on ciabatta, veggie scramble, and some other items. All very good! Best biscuit I've had. Good flavors and they don't skimp on the vegan cheese. The outdoor seating area is cute and shaded with umbrellas and trees.

Small and Quaint - Edit
For what it is, this coffee shop/restaurant is pretty nice. I came here with the intention of spending a few hours reading a book, but I didn’t realize how small it was. There are a few tables and chairs in the backyard that will maybe fit 20 people. There is NO restroom, and they ask that people don’t stay for longer than an hour (which imo defeats the purpose of a cafe).
Read moreFood wise, I had the Bacon Biscuit which was pretty good! I liked the vegan bacon a lot. I also had an iced mocha latte that was not bad.
Pros: Decent food and drink, Reasonable prices
Cons: No restroom, Small, Limited seating time 🥲

You like coffee? You like breakfast tamales? You like croissants? All vegan? Little barn is a sweet small spot with some shaded outdoor seating all packed in communal style in back with an array of Ⓥ options in Glassel Park - I’m surprised I didn’t know about this spot earlier. We love it!

Good not great - Edit
While I appreciate any vegan restaurant, the quality and portions have gone down here while prices have gone up. The burritos they show on Instagram are about twice the size of what you really get. Somehow their food just lacks flavor lately, very hit or miss depending on what you order.

Perfect - Edit
My wife and I go here every time we're in Los Angeles, and every time it blows us away. The sitting area is pretty nice and mostly shaded, but the food itself? Outstanding. The chicken pesto sandwich especially is something that I can't recommend enough.

So good I came twice - Edit
The Little Barn was a lovely surprise - I didn't really know what to expect. I stopped by for breakfast (sausage biscuit) and then lunch a week later on the way to the airport (special - croissant club sandwich). Both were great and I am glad I tried two dishes but if you are having one, go for the biscuit. The biscuit itself is homemade and so tasty.
Read moreGreat service. Loved the patio and the location. They happily served both my meals in my own containers that I brought, so no wasted cartons.

you won’t regret it *obsessed* - Edit
my favorite vegan breakfast/brunch/lunch spot thus far. home cooked to perfection. tried a lot of the menu and most of it hits the spot. the breakfast sausage burrito add hash brown is perfectly seasoned and a great portion. the biscuit sandwich with sausage *chefs kiss* i will recommend all day. the lattes with oat milk are amazing. the og breakfast sandwich is good but not as good as the other options mentioned. would probably taste better on croissant. the steak and egg burrito on the specials menu was amazing. the only thing i wouldn’t recommend is the soyrizo. not tasty. most soyrizo has a distinct taste that doesn’t make me go crazy.

Neighborhood Gem - Edit
The sandwiches and pastries at this unassuming neighborhood barn are worth the drive. I recommend the OG Breakfast Sandwich, marinated tofu, tomato, basil, onion and cheddar cheese on a croissant. The Turkey Sriracha Sandwich, with turkey , cheese, tomato and a generous amount of kale, was also really good.
Read moreTheir pastries baked fresh daily also did not disappoint. Bite into a moist muffin filled with tender blueberries, or dunk a chocolate strawberry scone in coffee. Also, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be back.
Pros: Great breakfast and lunch menu, Fresh baked pastries , Reasonable prices
Cons: I wish they sold conchas

The coffee was great. My breakfast burrito wasn’t, but I hear great things about this place so, maybe it was an off day. The patio is so cute and serene. The decor is sweet. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions about the menu. I do wanna give this place another try soon!
