Nice variety of small vegan lunch options and lush cakes so you can stop by, eat and then get going again without being too full.
Definitely worth popping by! 💚

I dare you to buy only 1 - Edit
I could gush all day about how much i love this place, as a matter of fact, ask my friends and colleagues and they'll tell you i do. The food is great (that's an understatement), the staff is lovely (again, massive understatement) and the vibe is off the charts.
Read moreI could recommend the cardamom swirl or the focaccia, but I've never been disappointed when ordering anything. You know what, try the thing that seems the least appetizing and i bet you'll find yourself hard-pressed not to love it anyway.
I am not exaggerating.

Lovely baked goods! They always exceed in quality and taste! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel welcome 🙏 Bombolone crema and pistachio croissant are a must try for people who like it sweet, focaccia with mushrooms is great for people who like it savory!

Cosy and Tasty - Edit
The bakery lives up to its reputation! Tasty sweets, just make sure not to visit too late (1 hour before closing), as most of the stuff will be gone. We had the pain de chocolate and chocolate cake. The peach latte was not tasty though. But if you like turmeric, maybe it is for you.

Literally everything is amazing! - Edit
We love this place for many years now. Literally everything we tasted here, from focaccia to pastries to smoothies to coffee was simply fantastic and opened our mind to how good vegan baking can be. This might sound like an ad but it is 100% true - the best vegan bakery anywhere.

Delicious, but tiny - Edit
The focaccias and the croissant were delicious, the staff was very friendly😄The prices were appropriate. I was however not aware how small the café would be (since you can reserve a table online). When we came in it was very crowded and we had to share a table in the back of the café. I'd recommend it for the food, but not if you are expecting a restaurant experience or get overstimulated easily.

Small but cozy - Edit
Cute small shop with many vegan options. Food wasn’t extremely impressive but nice enough for the price point. Not a lot of seats but cozy. Very friendly staff.

Shattigste vegan bakerijtje in Utrecht - Edit
Heel erg leuk klein bakkerijtje, de gebakjes waren erg lekker, hoewel de crossiant wel een beetje droog was. Vriendelijk personeel en gezellige sfeer.

Such a special little cafe - Edit
My partner and I have been visiting the Netherlands for the past week or so and we’ve been going to Life’s a Peach every morning. The staff is so friendly, open, and cheerful, and the food is truly superb. We’ve tried almost every one of their focaccias and pastries, and they’re all delicious; you can tell how much thought and love goes into each one. Everything really does taste homemade. We also love seeing them make fresh focaccia right behind the bar each day. The little cafe also has such a cute atmosphere with the pink walls, cute furniture, and each wall features different art from a local artist. My partner and I have also gotten into lovely conversations with various patrons there; the vibes here are so good. This sounds dramatic but I mean it when I say that this little cafe made me want to move to Utrecht even more than I already did! I could not recommend Life’s a Peach enough.

Cozy place to stay with great staff - Edit
Since we've seen so many positive reviews we made a small detour to check it out - definitely worth it! I especially recommend the milk shakes. Since they didn't have chocolate anymore they offered to create something off the menu - coconut with chocolate powder and glazing, which tasted just like Bounty. They will also recommend other vegan places or activities. On our next trip to Utrecht we will definitely come back!
