Unbelievable experience, truly a MUST - Edit
I have been here twice and both times were, to be quite honest, magical. Food presentation was playful, creative, and simply beautiful. Each item was better than the last and kept me guessing. Using seasonal ingredients keeps the focus on the star vegetable, staying both simple and yet complex and surprising. Flavor combinations are varied, with many creative pairings I’ve never seen before. I am so impressed, what more is there to say? My ONLY complaint is that the two hour window was very tight, you don’t have much time for breaks or conversation if you order the whole menu.

For our wedding anniversary we were looking for someplace special to eat and Leuchtendroter didn‘t disappoint! Everyone there is very nice, the style is casual and we felt very welcome. The dinner comes in the style of tapas and with the „take it all“ you get to taste everything in the menu. The theme of the evening was kind of asian flavors with a twist and we really enjoyed everything we got. Every course was unique in flavor and texture. The portions are just right. Just know when you have the 18-20h timeslot there are almost no pauses between courses. We had an awesome evening and would definitely return when we are in Frankfurt again.

For the breakfast you pay one price, for which you have buffet, drinks and some à la carte dishes included. In terms of taste and quality, everything is really at the top level. The service was also exceptionally attentive and friendly! We will definitely come back and also try the dinner!

Ein Erlebnis - Edit
Das Leuchtendroter war das erste gehobenere Restaurant, das meine Freundin und ich besucht haben. Die Atmosphäre ist vielleicht erstmal ein wenig einschüchternd, aber das klappt auch spätestens nachdem man seinen Platz eingenommen hat - das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Eher dunkel gehalten, sehr atmosphärisch. Es gibt kostenlosen (guten) Vodka am Tisch, den wir zum Reinigen des Geschmacks benutzt haben, denn jeder Gang, den wir hatten, war ein Erlebnis. Man kann aus einer Karte, die alte 6-8 Wochen aktualisiert wird, aus ungefähr 11 Gerichten wählen, oder auch einmal durch alles durchprobieren (60 Euro pro Person, mindestens 2). Für einzelnen Gerichte werden nicht beschrieben, es werden nur die Hauptzutaten erwähnt. Die Gerichte werden dann nach und nach an den Platz gebracht und sind explizit zum Teilen gedacht. Es gab viele verschiedene Dinge von wunderbaren Brot, über gerösteten Blumenkohl in einer Erdnusscreme bis hin zu Pastinakeneis mit krossem Topping. Jeder Gang wird kurz vorgestellt vom Kellner, an da liegt es an einem selbst, herauszufinden, wie man das beste aus den Essen holt. Ich empfehle, gemeinsam jeweils einen Bissen zu nehmen und sich darüber auszutauschen - dass macht den Spaß an der Sache aus. Die Portionen waren übersichtlich, aber durch die schiere Masse an Gängen waren wir absolut gesättigt am Ende. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. Wer gutes Essen haben möchte, wird hier definitiv auf seine Kosten kommen. Wir als Laien haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Individual and fresh vegan buffet. Selfmade, also the bread 🍞😍 Ordering warm dishes is also included (e.g. Franck toast 😋, Asian soup 🍲🤩). Very lovely people working there. Didn‘t expect this and so it was a great surprise. And all over vegan!

Each dish is quite affordable by itself but they vary in size/ how filling they are. Each ingredient is carefully selected and artfully combined. Some dishes riff on traditional classics like roasted bread or warm potato salad, others push boundaries, creating something new.
The atmosphere is very casual and hip. Quirky: each table has a bottle of Wodka from which you can help yourself. They also have lovely wine options.
We'll definitely be back!
6th of August: We've been back! Absolutely brilliant breakfast deal. For 26€ you get an all inclusive meal with as many dishes and beverages as you like. A bit more traditional and comfy than the dinner, while just as fine quality. Once more, well definitely be back - again!

It had so much expectatives with this place. Luckily I could get a table there and was so excited to try all the dishes. I knew it would be pricy and small portions, due to its Michelin star character. All the plates was very elaborated, but my impression was that they were lacking salt. All the flavours were very "green" and subtle. It's funny but the plate I enjoyed most was the bread with the garlic spread. The other ones were just missing something.

Vorweg…, alles hat superlecker Geschmeckt. Das Essen wird in einer Art ‚Tapas‘ serviert. Also alles sehr gut zum teilen. Wir haben alle(!) Gerichte der Karte durchprobiert und anschließend noch zwei Nachspeisen genommen. Die Weinempfehlung war stimmig zu den Gerichten. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und steht zu jedem Gericht Rede und Antwort.

Small and expensive portions, but sooo worth it! - Edit
Some colleagues and I recently went here for the first time and after seeing the prices and having been made aware of the portion size, we thought about just ordering one dish per person out of courtesy and then head out for pizza instead. Well, it didn't come to that because as soon as we've tried the first dishes, we couldn't stop ordering more! In the end each of us had a personal favorite and I personally didn't like every single dish, but we could easily agree on a second serving of the blinis with mashed butternut and belluga lentils. As the menu changes regularly and probably seasonally, it might not be on the menu when you are there, but I'm sure you'll find your own highlights. And as another reviewer has pointed out, there's free schnapps on the tables. To be exact, it was vodka and probably the smoothest vodka I've ever tasted, so one could easily drink it neat; but that means missing out on some great wines. So the food was great, the drinks were great and the interior design and the music made for a special atmosphere, plus the staff is friendly and far from snobbish. All in all we've had a perfect evening. And the next time we're at a pizza joint we might as well just order something out of courtesy and head back to Leuchtendroter again.

We had a very nice evening in this vegan restaurant. It belongs to a hotel. We enjoyed almost the whole menu, as the dishes are small and you can select 4-6 dishes for dinner. Drinks where great, i had the Gin Tonic and Leuchtendroter Punch - Awesome. Please more places like this in Frankfurt and around the World😄My favorite dishes are: TOMATO PACHO, WAN-TAN CLAN, AUBERSPIESSER and BREAD & MARGARINE.

Wir waren zu zweit und haben uns das 8-Gang Menü geteilt. Essen war super lecker, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, und inkl. Getränke haben wir knapp 80€ gezahlt. Bis auf das Entree und das Dessert (vegetarisch) war alles vegan. Ein paar Gänge hätten einen ticken kreativer sein dürfen, aber insgesamt trotzdem super und sehr lecker!
