Tenen opcions veganes

Pizza was super

The pizza was great without cheese. Very crunchy base and fresh vegetables. I really liked it. My wife had the burger, this was successful. Not really vegan. Perhaps we asked wrongly in our bad French?
Very friendly people working there.

Not really VG friendly

I was not expecting much in this mountain restaurant, showing only meat or cheese everywhere. But it was one of the few restaurants in Foix opening on the afternoon, it was on happycow and the menu mentioned some "vegan crepes". I found out that these crepes were not actually vegan (eggs on the recipe) and that the only vegan options were a poor ratatouille (supposed to be homemade, obviously frozen), regular frozen french fries, a tiny salad and a burger with some suspicious non-homemade "veggie steak" (with fluorescent carrots inside).
For dessert, only sorbets.
The chef and the waitress were polite but it was obvious that our simple and naive questions were bothering them. They forgot what "vegan" or "plant-based" mean, and were surprised we ask for it. After our questions, they referred tu us as "the vegans", mocking us (but not aggressively). And in the end they were surprised we finished our plates, even for the non-vegans ones (I went with my big family).

Two positive things to end : they accept dogs, and the paper place mats were intersting especially for kids, with informations about shepherds and the cohabitation with bears in the mountain (I guess I could say the place mat was kind of "bear friendly").

Pros: Accept animals (at least dogs), Fast , Nice place mats

Cons: Poor VG alternative, Not a very good vibe, Small and poor portions

buen lugar

Hemos comido muy bien, muchas opciones para vegetarianos. Poco para veganos. Los propietarios y camareros son muy amables y atentos. Además hablan español.

Pros: Muchas opciones vegetarianas.

Cons: Pocas veganas.
