Local bakery with veganizable croissants

Their margarine used in their "ordinary croissants" is milk-free and if you call ahead and ask for "croissants ordinaires sans dorure" ie without an egg wash, they will be vegan!

Not sure if they know the term vegan or not.

They freeze well too.

The bakery also has a great selection of breads (attn: "pain de mie" is not vegan).

Friendly staff.

I gave them 4 stars because this is so rare, and this is in the country - if this weren't the case it would be 3 stars for HappyCow given the limited vegan options (no other vegan pastries).
