Nice little place, good fresh food - Edit
I had never noticed this restaurant before seeing it on the Happy Cow app. What a nice surprise! The small Turkish-like restaurant has very good atmosphere you could not really feel from outside.
Read moreVegetetarian with vegan options, food is either tasty and generous (which is what you ask for in this kind of place) either full of "finesse" (e.g. the lentils soup).
Do not miss the (organic) "pistachio coffee": the coffee beans are replaced by pistachio beans. Very interesting!
Restaurant is close to famous and trendy concert halls La Maroquinerie and La Bellevilloise.

Vegan Turkish food! - Edit
This little and cute restaurant offers Turkish vegetarian and vegan specialties. As a vegan, you can find many options, including stuffed potatoes, Cig Köfte, hummus, loukoum, etc. The food is really tasty, you have always plenty of vegetables with main dishes and the staff very friendly. I took the Cig Köfte and I really liked it. You get very generous portions at low price, the atmosphere is pleasant but the room is small (only a few tables). It's better to book if you wanna eat there. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly, cheap, and tasty! - Edit
With some friends we stopped by La Mezze du Chef last Sunday when walking from Pere Lacheise to Belleville to get some food and have a picnic there.
Read moreAt the end we were all satisfied with what we had. For 4 euros we got huge wraps full of vegetables, and some of us also had some "mezzes" with hummus, olives... there are many things that you can choose from. It seems that the specialty of the place is stuffed potatoes, where you can put 5 of those "mezzes" for 10 euros.
Staff was extremely friendly and the place seemed clean and had a nice atmosphere!
Pros: Good food, Cheap, Friendly atmosphere
