Turkish veg restaurant - Edit
If you like Turkish food but you don't like döner kebab, this is the place. My Turkish friends love it.
Read moreThe mezzes are absolutely delicious with vegan options clearly written. My favorite dish is definitely Çiğ köfte that is maybe the best Turkish speciality for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Amazing food - Edit
They serve a delicious vegan stuffed potato. The girl who served me didn't speak English but she was so amazing and concerned. Really loved this place! Don't forget to take a coffee, it's also delicious!

Traditional mezze, but oily and had gluten in GF dish - Edit
Met my Parisian friend for lunch who appointed this as our spot which isn’t normally my kind of place as I prefer whole foods and organic venues. We had lentils soups for starters and then a mezze for one and a vegan kumpir (stuffed potato).
Read moreThe soups were nice, but as soon as one of us were finished they gave the next platters which made me feel rushed (there were no other guests so no reason to rush us). The mezze was very oily (olive oil though which at least is a little less bad) and there wasn’t a gluten free bread option to accompany the various mezzes with. I used some of potato though which sort of worked. The kumpir was pretty decent flavour wise (very uncertain about the ingredients though as it wasn’t labelled), but served on a plate with a salad that had a dressing which destroyed it and also these little things that I tried one of and which turned out to be made of bulgur (gluten). The latter made me really disappointed as the dish said GF on the menu and I’m thankful that I’m only sensitive to gluten and not have full on celiac. The owner didn’t really speak English which made things more difficult and I was too embarrassed to ask my friend to translate.
The place isn’t bio which is sad and definitely not natural/ made with unprocessed ingredients. Water was tap and tasted like chlorine. I didn’t feel great afterwards, but assume it’s still an option if you just want traditional mezze and don’t care about these things.
Lastly, the owner sat playing guitar which was cute and he helped me with my luggage which shows goodwill. Also the toilets were clean.

Vegan south Turkish food in Paris? Yep! - Edit
Super friendly little south Turkish resto in Ménilmontant, with plenty of vegan options and others that are veganizable. The soup was particularly excellent! Other than the delicious soup, the food was good but fell short of great.

Great value for money - Edit
Really big plates and it was very tasty and fresh. We got the big kofta plate and the potato with the mezzes both only 10 euros. The menu was only in French but the waitor/owner could speak English and explained it all to us. Would recommend if you're in the area and like Turkish food! Then even make their own pickled veggies 😁

Great vegan turkish food - Edit
We had the cig kofte plate, the vegan version of the kumpir (baked potato with 5 mezzes), and the café gourmand (vegan version). Be aware you need to specify you want your food to be vegan. In any case, everything was delicious!
Read moreThe service was quick and friendly, and the portions were generous.
About half of the mezzes are vegan; but it would be great if they could increase their vegan offer, particularly the desserts, as just a couple are vegan (instead of getting the café gourmand, I'd recommend just to get a coffee and order the desserts separately, if you are vegan).
Pros: good value, delicious, opening times
Cons: not all vegan

Tasty - Edit
It’s a good spot in Ménilmontant. The food is simply yummy, the proportions are great, the ingredients are good, the vibes too. Some vegan options otherwise it’s 100% vegetarian. You can’t really be disappointed. It’s not boogie but authentic and that’s what I want.

It’s not raw meet it’s cig köfte - Edit
This place is all vegetarian and they have a lot of vegan options. As a vegan you mainly will have to choose between the assiette de mezze (various dishes including cig kofte on one plate) and the turkish national meal cig köfte. It might be tempting to take the mezze (because there’s a little bit of everything) but if you don’t know cig köfte you clearly should privilege that one (it’s more original and delicious).

Hello!

Tasty simple street food - Edit
I leave in the area for a few years and i finally tried it thanks to HappyCow ! I tried Kumpir : a delicious baked potato with tzatziki, eggplant salad, olive salad, with a small green salad as a side, with parsley and pickle : for 10€. It's tasty vegetarian, the tzatziki is the only non vegan product. Not a fifth star because the take away option is packed with various plastic boxes and aluminium foil.
