Pros: Bon service, Jolie restaurant
Cons: Pas correspondance prix et goût

Plenty of vegan options just steps from Notre Dame on a quiet side street. Small and open air.

Small Street-side Cafe with Nice Offerings - Edit
A charming little veg/vegan restaurant with a good selection of plates. Nice to have this cafe near Notre Dame, but the food was so-so.

Matig, smaakloos eten - Edit

Delicious! - Edit
Multiple clearly labeled vegan options on an all-vegetarian menu. Cute atmosphere and kind servers. The potato & sweet potato au gratin was incredible. Lentil burger was good, but the potatoes that came with it were amazing. There are 2 vegan dessert options in addition to several vegan sorbets. I tried the brownie with a cocoa sorbet - it was warm and melted and so rich; can’t recommend enough!

Not open when advertised - Edit
The app said the restaurant was open at 14:30. However, although it looked open, we were greeted with a surly 'fermèe' and sent on our way. Either Happy Cow has got this wrong or the restaurant is misinforming HC.

Not for me - Edit
I’m pretty sure I ate here in the ‘90s, and I don’t know that the menu has changed significantly since then.
Read moreWe had chickpea-based faux gras to start, and then I chose a main of seitan, raw vegetables, cooked vegetables, and potatoes. It ended up being as random as it sounds. Kinda like what you’d get from a restaurant with nothing vegan on the menu that just whips something up at your request. My dining companion didn’t like her gratin much more.
I really wanted to love this place, but I left feeling disappointed. It reminded me of Moosewood in upstate New York. I wish these pioneering vegetarian restaurants could figure out how to make delicious vegan food!

Viele vegane Optionen - Edit

Amazing comfort food in a great setting, just around the corner from Notre Dame. Stop in for lunch, vegan options are clearly labeled. It's a shame it's not completely vegan.

LOVED this place - Edit
Enjoyed eating here and the owners were kind. The food was mostly organic and most was vegan (I hope they turn 100 percent vegan.) I also saw cold pressed juices on the menu and came back and got that again. I got the Zen Garden plate and it was perfect! Huge portions by the way!

My only complaint is that they didn't open at one of times listed as times they are open. They said the electricity had been out that day.

This place was super cute. Apparently it has been around since the 1970’s which is super cool. There is a good selection of vegan options; I really liked le gratin dauphinois, total comfort food. The chestnut sorbet was a tasty dessert too. Kinda small space inside, some outdoor seating.

Special Place - Edit
We had the menu for 29€ per person and were very satisfied. It's a cool place with a very special and authentic vibe. Just maybe don't expect super big portions of food, it's rather about the quality (although the main course is totally fine).
Read moreStaff was very friendly, toilet is there as well (not a necessity in Paris). Glad we checked it out, can recommend if you wanna do smth special which you maybe can't do at others places. It's a bit pricey therefore 4 stars not 5 (also not 100% vegan).

Delicious Vegan/Vegatarian French Peasant food - Edit
Organic vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options near Notre Dame. We had the potatoes Dauphine, the seitan steak, and the mushroom gratin of the day. Delicious food, outdoor seating on a quiet street, perfect for a relaxing lunch. It was great to find this gem that serves lots vegan food amongst the many non-vegan other cafes in that area. Vegan food isn't that easy to find, there are some great places but typically out of the main tourist areas.

Could be promising but awful service - Edit
Should be 1 star but giving an extra star in support of a vegan restaurant.
Read moreCould have loved this restaurant but service was less than par. Waited for a table while host/cashier chatted with patrons who were leaving for 10 minutes.
Then we were told there were not tables upstairs and we had to take a table downstairs by the cashier/ front entrance. We moved to an adjacent table because there was a draft but he told us we couldn’t sit there even after telling him we were cold. We left after that.
Pros: Menu looks good
Cons: Not friendly, Small and drafty, Uninviting
