I am an American traveling in Paris with a group of omnivores. I convinced my friends to all stop at Land & Monkeys so I could finally indulge in all the pastries and treats that would fit my plant-based dietary needs. It did not disappoint! My non-vegan friends were happy to sit and sip on delicious dairy-free matcha lattes in the bright and relaxed cafe setting. I enjoyed the quiche, pistachio brioche, and lemon (citron) meringue tart. All the food was delicious, but the tart was the most incredible! My only regret is that I didn’t try the macarons too. The staff was so friendly and helpful with our whole group, we had varying levels of French-speaking ability, and the employees also spoke English when we needed a little help figuring out how and what to order. If you are vegan, have any dietary restrictions, or are interested in trying more plant-based options, you must stop here while in Paris!

Not safe for milk allergies - Edit
Hello, I have many allergies including milk, eggs, shellfish, beef, lentils and pineapple. I showed them my translated allergy card and they dismissed it quickly by saying they were a vegan restaurant. (That should have been my first hint.) Then after eating some I felt weird so I checked their website even though I had checked it before. I found an allergen list. It listed some allergens including but not limited to milk and eggs as (trace amounts) in certain foods. Which was no where else advertised. I had a small reaction and just left very disappointed. I didn’t even tell the staff because I had ordered many things to go and each time I added something to my order they looked very irritated. Update: there is now a notice on the website saying if you are allergic to milk to not eat at the restaurant.

We loved the branch on Rue d'Amsterdam. This one was not so good. Staff not very helpful. Vegan lasagne which we asked to be warmed up was cold except for the edges. No glasses available at the water area. Whole place needing tables wiped. Just not a nice experience which was disappointing as we loved the other branch.

Boy do I wish we had these in the U.S. Some stuff can be a bit hit or miss but overall I've had so much good stuff at these. First time at this location and it didnt disappoint. The kebab sandwich was particularly good (ask them to heat it up if they don't offer).

L&M on grands boulevards is so cosy - don’t miss the second floor. They have delicious sandwich and cakes. Especially their banana bread and marbre bread. Their baguettes is one of the best in Paris!

This continues to be my happy place. 😋🤩😍They have a choice of chocolate or pistachio babke. The pistachio was fab as was the bacon cheddar muffin. Mmm divine. It’s all quite naughty. The kale and cauliflower quiche is the next thing I need to devour and maybe I can wait until lunch.
Read moreI want to eat every meal here the whole trip! Delectable babka roll and bagel BLT with chewy sesame bagel and crispy yummy fake bacon. The room upstairs is gorgeous and so lovely to people watch out the windows or lounge to work. I’ll be back imminently.
Next breakfast was also awesome. The muffin bacon cheddar was so incredible warmed up with the melted cheddar! I think it’s the best dupe for cheddar I’ve had and the muffin was so soft. The La Vie bacon is great too! I’d totally get this again. I got the mini pain aux chocolate too which was also fantastic. This is probably the biggest venue with the most seating.

We went here almost everyday on our trip to France, very fairly priced, big big portions and most importantly, the food is bangin !! We had desserts, sandwiches, pastries, everything was 5 star, other then the cookies taste what we would call healthy 🤣 they are just ok, but all other desserts we got we amazing. Especially the vanilla flan.

Went for breakfast and had the plant based chicken baguette. It was a decent size and delicious. Lovely firm baguette, beautifully cooked "chicken" pieces with veg. Absolutely loved it! The pastries looked amazing too, but we didn't have a chance to sample them. We will be back

This bakery is quite large and has a big selection of baked goodies: pastries, 4 types of focaccia, bread rolls, cakes and more! When I visited, the service was not the most friendly, but the joy of walking in a bakery knowing that everything on offer is "safe" to eat was immense! Would recommend popping in if in the area.

Typical Boulangerie but in vegan style - Edit
Very good food, freshly prepared. Wide selection of pastries for breakfast and coffee using oat milk. Savory snacks are also available for lunch; they look really rich and appetizing, but I haven't tried them. I was there for breakfast and had a pain au chocolate with cappuccino. Friendly and helpful staff.
