Don't waste your monet here - Edit
It is quite disappointing. I came here because of glowing 5 star reviews, but the food is mediocre to say the least.
Read moreThe staff are great and friendly, and the decorations is nice. So if you want to come hefe to enjoy the nice atmosphere, by all means do so. But if you want good food, there are better place to spend your money, not here.
I ordered the Sichuan tofu dish, but barely tasted any sichuan numbing sichuan peppercorns. It barely tasted like anything actually... the staff came and asked me how the food was, so I gave them an honest comment. But there was no offer to adjust the dish for me showing any acknowledgement of the feedback.
I only gave two star for the service, but this has nothing to do with the staff. They are nice! I gave 2 star because for the price they charge, it is actually petty to charge 3,000 for a wet wipe that was offered to me, that I didn't ask for.

Ps. The owner replied to my review on the Google Map, and the attitude is worrying to say the least... They cited "different taste". And they dont seem like they are open for constructive criticism. I doubt any feedback I left with the staff will be taken seriously to improve the quality and taste of the food. Just don't go here...

Lovely ambiance - - Edit
this restaurant is hidden away, near the lake. It’s well worth visiting if you want an upscale vegan or vegetarian meal. Slow paced, it can last an hour or two. Food was excellent, and the choices were a combination of French and Vietnamese. Upscale dining, friendly staff, and nice surroundings. I’d go again.

A restaurant with nice interior and friendly personnel, but the food disappinted us a little. Our expectations were high because of the really good reviews, the higher price and the way the food is presented, but the taste was a bit bland. We had a good dinner, but in our opinion the price is too high for what you get.

This is truly a hidden gem. The service was impeccable with a charming interior design. Our table shared 4 dishes that were excellent. The food was high quality, beautifully presented, and very tasty. It was unexpected joy. Our favorite dish was the newly added barley porridge. The name is deceptively plain considering the delightful flavors. The price is very reasonable considering the quality.

This place is very nice inside and staff are friendly. The food was too expensive for the quality unfortunately. I was excited to try the faux gras, which was cashew based, but it didn’t taste of very much and for £10 equivalent it was not big enough or has the quality. we got a salad that was really mediocre.The beetroot seitan was the best dish and was good.

Curry! I loved their curry! First I wasn’t sure to order since it’s not Vietnamese or French - but they toasted the cashews and the flavour was rich! Just wished for veggies inside

A Must in Hanoi!! - Edit
I came here on a night when I wanted something different from Vietnamese cuisine and I was really satisfied. Not everything is vegan on the menu, and I had the French platter as appetizer and the Beetroot seitan as main course and both were really good! Especially the truffle mayo and the tenderness of the seitan. I would definitely go here again! One of the best restaurants I've tried in Hanoi!

Food, drinks and service were amazing! They had a separate vegan menu. For starters we had the French platter (vegan pate, truffle mayo, jam and bread) and the Faux gras which were both soo good. The Beetroot Seitan was incredible, the texture was unreal, the best seitan I’ve ever had!! My boyfriend has the vegetarian stuffed cabbage and would highly recommend it (this can be veganised)
