So much to choose from. Great atmosphere, I got the seitanzo and it was delicious and filling. The highlight of the meal was the lemon alfajor with chocolate that i drank with cafe con leche. One of the best vegan desserts I’ve had.

Nice food and staff let down by bad hygiene - Edit
I enjoyed my time at La Vegana until I went to the bathroom- the toilet seat was missing, the toilet flush was ripped off the wall, there was no soap, no toilet paper and and the toilet didn’t even flush! I know Argentina is suffering from economic troubles, but it costs nothing to put an out of order sign on a toilet door!

Nice canteen like restaurant. It’s lovely decorated & you can also buy a few things like vegan chocolate bars. The food was good! It’s great if you want to try traditional Argentinian food in vegan. We tried the chopita & an empanada with „spicy meat „ the cakes also looked amazing.

But I really liked the atmosphere.
And they also offer a gluten free sandwich with potato bread and "meat" out of lentils.

Lugar tranquilo y agradable. Muchas opciones de cosas típicas argentinas veganizadas. Llevaba 10 años sin comer un choripán y el sabor es el mismo. Las empanadas también muy ricas y enormes.

El pancho estuvo buenísimo, las papas hilo crujientes, pedí una milanesa con un jamón y queso deliciosos y con texturas agradables, el único detalle con la milanesa fue que no estaba muy caliente, diría casi que estaba fría, de todas formas estaba muy sabrosa.

Place was ok but more junk food orientated. We had seitan empanadas and a vegetable tart. They were nice but the pastry for the tart was difficult to cut into.

I got the seitanazao, one of the super panchos (loaded hot dogs) and a coffee. Seitanazao wasn't really to my taste as it was super salty and not much beyond that, the super pancho was nicer though and the coffee was okay.

I loved this place!! The food was incredible, affordable, and the vibes inside were the best. I hung out at this restaurant/cafe for a few hours and read some of the zines they have made by local queer/vegan artists. Tons of posters up about animal liberation 🖤 I got the seitan sandwich and a limonada, both were great.

A little bit rundown but great value vegan food - Edit
The restaurant looks a little run down and the ambiance is lacking, but this is a great casual restaurant for vegan sandwiches, empanadas and desserts. The chocolate mousse was delicious. The food was great value. We ended up spending less than $4000 and were full.

Seiten sandwich and empanada - Edit
I had the seiten sandwich, it was nice but a little too salty, I would've loved to get a little more flavor and seasoning from the seiten, but I did like it's texture and the vegetables kept it fresh. I also got the barbeque seiten empanada which was a little sour and also didn't have much flavor. Overall I liked the sandwich out of the two better, it was nice but not too special, and I would recommend to maybe try a different empanada😊
