Yummy soup - Edit
I was feeling dehydrated so I thought some soup would help. I got the tom yum soup. They forgot to put soy chicken in it (it was described that it would come with soy chicken), so that was a bit of a bummer, but other than that it was really good. It was warm, comforting, flavorful, and hydrating. I felt a lot better after eating it. I also liked the fresh coconut water! It was cool how they served it in an actual coconut.

Always delicious Thai food!!! - Edit
Update!!! LA Vegan has raised their prices and the quality seems to have faltered a bit and they are using a different soy chicken that is really not as good as the old one... I'll keep it at 4 stars for now, but I hope they correct course soon!!!
Read moreI've been going here for several years and have always enjoyed each visit. The Thai food is VERY authentic. I highly recommend the drunken noodles, tom sum, and tom yum soup.

Ehhhh I’m good. - Edit
I won’t go back again. The fish sandwich and BLT needed some extra love when we got home. The fish was gross if you ask me. BLT was on the same roll as fish sandwich. The lightlife bacon wasn’t cooked and they put vegan cheese on BLT. We also got fresh rolls. They were the best part but nothing great. I liked that they used basil.

OMG best “chicken wings” - Edit
This was sooooo good. We ordered the “chicken wings”, mango salad and green curry with “fish”. Everything was really, really good. The chicken wings were better than chicken according to my omnivorous friend, the magi salad was fresh and delicious, and the green curry was good (not exceptional but good). Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back.

Tasty pretty good value - Edit
Tasty Thai, all the usual goods.
Read moreGot the Pad Thai lunch special, very good.
There is an up charge for faux meats, and there wasn't much in it, so it's probably the best value to stick to the tofu.
Cons: Faux meat upgrades not worth the cost.

What happened? - Edit
I used to love this place. But something happened to their food during the pandemic. Two times in a row on different visits, I’ve eaten there and then vomited what I’d eaten! Not going back.

Go-To Thai Takeout - Edit
LA Vegan has been my go-to for Thai takeout since I moved to the Mar Vista/Del Rey area a few years ago. I love the pad thai and the dynamite wings - the sauce is my fave!!! The salads are also very good. I'll be back for more, again and again

Just delicious - Edit
We ordered take-out: Hot Wings, Fish Sandwich, Fried Chicken Dinner, High Protein Salad, and Sweet Rice with Mango for dessert. Everything was fantastic and well made. Frankly, I was overwhelmed by all the choices!
Read moreThe Hot Wings were disappointing because the sauce was liquidy and wasn’t spicy. I’m from Central New York so I know all about (vegan) spicy wings and these didn’t come close. The fish sandwich was well crafted, but I would have preferred a fishier tasting fried fish.
The chicken dinner was outstanding. The peanut dressing on the High Protein Salad was amazing - glad we ordered an additional side of it. And what could go wrong with sweet sticky rice and mango?

The minute I saw the menu options, I knew that this place was going to be good. - Edit
I purchased the Kung Pao soy chicken, Broccoli soy beef, seaweed rolls and the Tom Yum Kai soup. There was so much flavor with EVERY dish! I plan on going back real soon to try some more options. You will never want to eat any other Thai.

Other than vegan pizza this is my favorite place to order in from. Never eaten at the place itself, but the food is amazing. Desserts to real full meals are so good. Not necessarily cheap but still good.

Great menu! - Edit
Visiting LA my wife and I are here twice. Low key, solid menu if you want some brunch, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast foods, burgers tacos and burritos, or Asian dining. Doesn't feel like the "health-nut" vegan place, but, naturally, does not seem like junk food at all.

Not so great - Edit
Was there for lunch. The gentleman who showed me to my table and took my order was very nice and friendly. I ordered the Kung Pao lunch special, which was served with brown rice, a side salad, and two fried wontons.
Read moreI chose to add the soy chicken, which was an extra $2, a bit pricey, I think for just a few pieces. Overall, the quality was so so. The wontons were barely eatable. It's great that they serve vegan food, I applaud them for that, but I will not return.
Pros: Friendly service, Pretty good prices
Cons: Food quality, Small place, Not comfortable

Non organic GMO soy😒 - Edit
Went in for dinner. Always hesitant but had to ask about GMO in soy/tofu/faux meat because of knowing the dangers to health. Really nice waitress/hostess politely and honestly told us that food was not organic and did contain GMOs. Unfortunately a no can do. Wish it was easier for restaurants to afford better ingredients!
