Very tasty and satisfying - Edit
Between three big eaters, we shared five tapas and were pleasantly full. Everything was great: both potato dishes, the house “coca”, the moussaka and the sobrasada. Good wines too and a cosy place. Definitely recommend coming here for tapas.

Delicious food! - Edit
We loved the food here, everything was delicious- our favourite was the patatas bravas. Be aware that the menu is all in Valencian so I google translated it a bit before to understand it before ordering. We have seen some poor reviews about rude staff / tourists not being served, so we took note and didn’t speak in English, instead we ploughed on in our imperfect Spanish and we found the staff to be very friendly! It’s a nice, authentic feeling place and it’s 100% worth making a visit as the food was some of the best we had in Valencia.

Delicious vegan tapas - Edit
All vegan tapas brasserie. Lots of choice on the menu. It’s a small restaurant with some seats outside too. Some of the best patatas bravas I’ve ever had. Also recommend the fajita and courgette moussaka.

I had a seitan wrap and a sort of sweet bread yoke with tomatoes.

Ausgezeichnete Patatas in authentischer Atmosphäre - Edit
#Veganuary

Really tasty traditional food - Edit
It's an authentic, no frills tavern style space with really delicious tapas. We had a great dinner here. I speak Spanish so was able to chat with the server and figure out some of the dishes I was unsure about as our menus were actually in Valencian (not sure if that's all of them or just the ones we were given). I don't think they speak much English here so you may need to have Google translate at the ready and point to the menu if you don't speak Spanish / are a tourist. I would say the food is worth a possible awkward exchange though, so don't be put off - would definitely reccomend!

I have come several times and I never leave disappointed. All the food is super good and if you go on weekends you can get a wonderful vegan paella. Love it.

Old School Tavern - Edit
We had a great experience. Food was good bar food. I speak Spanish and ordered and interacted in Spanish. Service was friendly. When we were there everyone ordered from the bar counter and paid there. The menu is on the wall near the counter so you can point to items when ordering if needed. The menu is in Valenciano so we had to look up descriptions for some items on our phones.

Would not recommend to tourists - Edit
I was glad to see a fully vegan tavern close to where I was staying. My Spanish is quite broken and the staff did not want to speak English, only Valencian. She told me the kitchen was closed 10 mins ago although she had just taken someone else’s order. After, I read similar experiences on google. I assume they did not want to serve me and I do respect that, just wish I had known that before.

Lloc autèntic i reivindicatiu! - Edit
És una taverna vegana molt autèntica amb unes quantes tapes veganes casolanes clarament marcades a la pissarra. Ens van encantar les braves i les croquetes de bolets. Això sí, alerta que només es pot pagar en efectiu!

authentic food and atmosphere - Edit
The tapas were excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is unique. If you go here you have to be aware that the menu is in Spanish and you have to order in Spanish (you can do this even as a tourist with your hands and a few words). The service is a bit ruff but that's what makes it work. By the way, you can only pay in cash

Best vegan paella - Edit
I've read reviews saying the personnel is quite rude but I think it's only when you don't make any effort to speak Spanish. Be nice and at least try to speak their language :)
Read moreFood wise, they made our paella on request (available on Sundays only) so they told us it would take 30 minutes to be ready. We had patatas bravas in the meantime and they were amazing. The paella was definitely worth the wait!
I also like the fact they don't use social media for their promotion. Happy clients do it for them, which is much more authentic.
Just bear in mind it's cash only. We didn't see the sign and didn't have cash on us, but they trusted us and let us go to the cash machine after we ate (there are several cash machines a few minutes walk away).
I can't comment on drinks as we were there for food only.
Pros: Amazing food, 100% vegan pub, Spanish only (could be a con)
Cons: Opening times, Cash only, They don't speak English (could be a pro)

Delicious Patatas Bravas and Wraps! - Edit
Small, out of the way, and unsuspecting. BUT SO DELICIOUS and definitely worth the search for this place. We tried the patatas bravas, falafel wrap, and seitan wrap. All were delicious. I will say the falafel wrap was rather dry but the patatas bravas were so delicious we just had to order seconds!

Delicious authentic tapas - Edit
This felt like a really authentic Spanish experience - the restaurant itself is more of a laid back bar, kind of rustic. The tapas themselves were pretty food, best potatas bravas I’ve ever had for sure
Read moreThe only downside was the rude staff, they seemed uninterested in actually serving anyone. At one point they seemed really annoyed at us and we finally worked out it was because we weren’t using Valencian dialect

Cons: Rude staff, Cash only
