Good, but not a standout for me - Edit
We ordered 2 fried tacos with a minced mushroom seaweed filling and a torta sandwich. The seafood is made from things like mushrooms and cauliflower mixed with seaweed. While the sandwich tasted good, I didn't know what sort of seafood it was supposed to replicate and it didn't taste particularly seafoody in any case. I also found the serves were a little smaller and pricier than other places I've tried in the area.

Walked past this place with no plans to come here, but so glad we did! Tried the calamarnot, the empanada and the diablo tacos and they all tasted so good!

One of the most interesting menus I’ve seen - I wanted to try everything! We settled with the cocktail and empanada for starters. Both were tasty, but the best were the main courses of tacos and setadillas. The flavours worked perfectly and they really captured the taste of the ocean. Highly recommend!

He probado prácticamente todo el menú de la plantisqueria y nunca me ha decepcionado. El ambiente es amable para todos. Puedes comer con toda la familia incluidos los lomitos. El servicio es excelente y la comida también, siempre me quedan ganas de seguir probando sus platillos. Los precios no son bajos, pero me parecen razonables para la calidad y porciones de los alimentos. Su clamato vegano es un manjar para los días de calor. Si tienes antojo de comida con sabor a mar, la plantisqueria es la mejor opción para todos los paladares. Es un buen lugar para llevar a esas personas que aún están escépticas sobre la alimentación a base de plantas.

I recommend: Empanadas preparadas, Setadillas and my favorite Taco Diabla (is not as spicy as you may think). Also the Chilpachole soup because you won't find anything like it anywhere.

Read moreThe signs says “vegan seafood,” which here means a variety of different ways of interpreting coastal cuisine and more. Some might imagine lots of processed fake fish, but fortunately this isn’t the case here. For example, the “Calamarnot” are made with tubers, served with a nice tartar sauce, and there’s a ceviche-style dish made with mushrooms, etc. All of it is lovingly prepared with quality ingredients, with great flavor and texture.
We can highly recommend the “prepared empanada,” the setadillas, and the tacos diabla. They make a good vegan cheesecake, too.
Service is warm and helpful, with both Spanish and English spoken well (and menus in both languages). They clearly love making their guests smile.

Los not-calamares son INCREÍBLES! Soy vegana por 8 años, extraño la textura y el gusto de los productos del mar. Es la primera vez que como mariscos que son tan parecidos. 🤗
Además, bebí unas Kombuchelada, una Michelada con kombucha. Es riquísima!!! Necesitan probarla 🍺😍

Until now, Mexican vegan food has been practically absent from the vegan options in Mexico City. This place changes that. The tacos are superb, but what it is absolutely a must are the CalamarNOT, I’ve been aching for something like this for years.
