We had vegan pizza and pasta with eggplants (ask for no cheese for pasta, spaghetti are without eggs). Pizza was amazing, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend.

When we arrived, we were offered an English menu, and on it a vegan pizza option was listed. We asked if the eggplant pasta could be made vegan. My partner asked if vegan cheese could be added and the server hesitated. We opted to just order it as is.

I've been there with my wife. When you've got no options... Then Happy Caw is there to show you the way. Vegan options, Vegan pizza, one of the best tomato sauce I've ever had. Vegan cheese is also great. We also had the Eggplant Tomato Sauce Spaghetti, delicious. Doesn't close too early. Enjoy.

Eggplant pasta was AMAZING! So simple yet sooo delicious. Vegan pizza didn't look too exciting when it arrived but it was also delicious! Lovely staff too. They informed us on arrival there would be an hour wait for food and there was, but that's totally fine and I appreciate them letting us know in advance.

There is a vegan pizza with soy cheese and unfortunately hardly any vegetables. It was also the most expensive pizza - I think that's a bit of a shame! But it was still very tasty! So only 3 stars, but we would still come back! :)

It doesn’t look great from the pictures, but the pizza is pretty good! The crust is crunchy, the sauce is tasty and the vegan mozzarella is delicious! The garlic bread was good too. This place can be a life saver, since most restaurants close very early!

We had a Funghi Pizza which was average in terms of dough and tomato sauce. The funghi were very nice. Additionally, we had some Caprese which was nice, but rather small. Also the pizza was not really big, but as we were just after a snack and not a full meal, it was ok.

Lots of vegetarian choices. When we walked in we were greeted and told the food would take a while to prepare. We were not in a rush and decided to stay. Our drinks came out fast followed by our garlic bread appetizer. The pizza and pasta quickly followed. The wait time was very typical of an average American restaurant. The food was exceptional and service was friendly. It was a very nice atmosphere.

The vegan pizza option is now labeled as vegan in the menu. They probably have had some more vegan customers, as they seemed more familiar with the concept. No new items on the menu. We ordered the pasta made vegan and pizza and the bigger salad. Salad for 3-4 persons is good for 2. Not that much proteins there, but we were happy!

Vegan options? Definitively!! This place was amazing. Has an English menu with a clearly listed vegan option (the pizza), as well as a modifiable eggplant pasta and mushroom pizza. We had the mushroom pizza with soy cheese and it was flippin’ awesome, as well as the eggplant pasta minus the cheese. Probably the most vegan friendly place in kawaguchiko where we were actually able to get (pretty damn good) food!

Staff were also incredibly lovely - while we communicated in Japanese it did appear to have plenty of foreigners in the restaurant who didn’t seem to have trouble ordering their food so you should be A-OK to go here with 0 language knowledge and an empty belly. ❤️

Vegan and vegetarian options, just tell staff and they'll point out the choices. We had the vegan pizza with soy cheese, the veg spaghetti, mushrooms with vegan garlic bread and very tasty sorbet. Very friendly and helpful staff, absolutely delicious food. It's a must visit when in town. Worthy of a 5 star rating.

I went to this restaurant last night (April 2023) since everything else was closed and they did not disappoint! They don’t label the vegan cheese on the menu, so *you have to ask for it!* Get the fungi pizza because that’s already vegetarian and it isn’t common to be able to ask for substitutions at Japanese establishments in my experience.
