Great desserts - Edit
We had some sandwiches and deserts. The portions are a bit small but otherwise everything is great. Friendly service very tasty food. Especially the sweets. Best vegan cheesecake I had in Italy. Good variety to choose from. I will visit this place whenever I'm in Bologna. Just three very small tables so don't expect a comportable restaurant.

A hidden gem in Bolognina - Edit
A 100% vegan dessert shop. I have mixed feelings about discovering this place so late. On one hand, I wish I had found it sooner because their desserts are amazing. On the other hand... my waistline would definitely have suffered the consequences. Prices are average, and since seating is limited, it's better suited for takeout.

Very cute and yummy - Edit
Very cute little pastry shop with yummy cakes. The staff is really nice. It’s a little pricey (1 cake, 1 mousse and 2 orange juices 17€). I would totally recommend going there.

A real surprise - Edit
I recommend it to everyone, even non-vegans, who will be amazed. Here is my experience: in hot June 2024, I commissioned a vegan ‘black forest’ cake for a special birthday. Not an easy task because few confectioners handle chocolate in summer.
Read moreAt Bottega di Mirtilla I found super availability. We made arrangements by whatsapp and on the appointed day I went to pick up the cake, very punctual. Easy to reach and good parking (blue stripes). The place is nice, there is a table for eating on the spot, very nice. I was served with a lot of kindness. I put the cake in the fridge (consumed the next day). It was an exceptional cake.
The birthday woman - a fan of that kind of cake ever since she was an omnivore - said ‘it's the best Black Forest ever’. I mean, I made a big impression. I also bought two bags of biscuits, made with spices, the first bag ended up in the car on the way home, the second was devoured on arrival, really good. I don't live exactly in Bologna (I'm in the hood) but I will definitely be back.
