We tried the orange cupcake - so moist, no frosting needed - and the carrot cake - it tasted like carrot cake, made without any compromises.

A must in Barcelona, but pricey - Edit
I tried many things and I loved most of them. I was only a bit deceived by the tiramisu (too much whipped cream and no "mascarpone", super thin biscuits) and the alfajor de maicena, which was too crumbly and soft in my opinion. I do love the chocolate cake in the jar and all the cookies. In general, I love this bakery because you can see they really care about what they do and they offer a huge choice of desserts. The staff is always nice and helpful.

Many cakes are in a jar, so I would suggest to bring a teaspoon with you when you go, otherwise you can buy in the shop a compostable spoon for 10 cents!

Brilliant selection of cakes and cookies, all really tasty. I also once ordered a birthday cake from here for my boyfriend and it came out perfect—was a huge hit among the omnivore partygoers. That said, customer service is very hit and miss. So much so that I had to knock off a star. I’ve had such wonderful experiences here and equally unpleasant ones! (Fortunately from different people so I assure you it’s not a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation. I hope you get a nice person going in!)

There was lots to choose from here, from the cakes in jars, to cookies, cupcakes, creative peanut butter-filled croissants, and cream tarts. The taste of the cream is unique and very light (not sure what they use to make it). Everything is of a high quality and the price tag definitely reflects that.

We tried the carrot cake and a muffin. The muffin was ok, the carrot cake was only tasting sweet. It had no flavors at all, the frosting was also too sweet and lacking dimension with lemon juice or such. Really disappointing considering they are specialized in cakes. Also a real pity that you can’t sit down here to enjoy a coffee with the cake.

Siempre que voy a Barcelona me paso por La Besneta para comprar postres. Se puede decir que no tienen competencia en la ciudad. Es todo un acierto, no deja a nadie indiferente. Sí es cierto que es muy caro para los sueldos que se manejan en España y que el trato no suele ser muy cercano.

I had high hopes but was quite disappointed by the strong chemical metallic taste of the red velvet and carrot cakes from too much baking powder. The vegan marscapone was nice but the cakes themselves were bland with that overwhelming chemical taste. The tiramisu was sickly sweet and not enough coffee flavour. If you like carrot cake I recommend the one at la suegra del jardinero. It's more flavourful and more moist (I do not work there, lol!)

This is one of the best Vegan bakeries of the world I've ever seen, I recommended to visit if you are in Barcelona, sure you will like it, I love the vegan peanuts cookies they handmade, because everything they do, they do it with love :)
