Don’t Kreuz Past This Spot - Edit
Set in a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood, on face value alone, I had an inkling that I was going to get a decent feed from this joint. It wasn’t my intended target for the evening, but something about it drew me in.
Read moreJudging by the menu alone, I thought my instincts had steered me in the right direction, stacked as it was with a range of intriguing plant-based options. However, when it came time to order, I did start to question myself. Dour would just about cover the demeanour of the server’s, and my fears were that this negativity would translate on to the plate. Yet, for every bit as morose as the staff were, the food was equally joyful.
Both the burgers - the Weddinger (bacon and egg) and Tempelhofer (mushroom) - I had were superb. Moist patties, ample filling and decent sizes - there was little to fault with either of them.
The sides too were good. Nothing spectacular, but they all did their respective jobs solidly and only added to my overall enjoyment of the meal.
A quality burger ranks among my absolute favourite things to eat, and having had two here, I’d be more than happy to repeat the experience anytime.

Heavenly vegan burger - Edit
This is such a convenient spot if you're looking to go for a bite between a bunch of really cool bars. I got the vegan mushroom and Swiss burger and it was amazing. I think the patty itself was made of breaded tofu, such a good texture though.

Great vegan burgers and fries - Edit
The fries are super delicious and so are the vegan burgers I've tried so far. The Köpenicker and Hellersdorfer I can really recommend. The Tofuburger not so much, because it's a bit bland.

Read moreUnfortunately they also serve meat. The menu card is clearly but if you want to have some ketchup you get troubles not touching the mayo, as the taps are right next to each other.
Nevertheless I would come back for the fries. You can get usual fries, rustic fries and sweet-potato fries.

You get what you pay for - burgers that are rather basic but very tasty. Tried the beetroot and the seitan patty this far, both tasted very good. A good place if you‘re on the go and craving burgers and fries.

I ordered a tofuburger, and was severely disappointed. I was hungry, so I ate it, but if I had any other option, I wouldn't go back.

Late night munchies - Edit
Berlin is full of Kreuzburger fast food outlets and they offer a perfect solution to those late night cravings when all vegan places have closed. My attack of the the munchies arose whilst drinking on Oranienstraße in Kreuzburg. Luckily this Kreuzburger place was open and I swiftly ordered a tofu burger for just €4. Service was quick and the burger was tasty and satisfying, allowing me to continue partying late into the early morning in this fantastic city.
