Ordered for delivery, 1 hour before close. Food was not great. Spicy chicken sandwich was good as well as mozzarella sticks. Tacos were taquitos not tacos. Guacamole sauce and whatever other sauces came with were watery and lacked flavor. Fries were good. Mac and cheese was flavorless and watery.

One of the best comfort food restaurants I’ve ever tried! We had the Korny burger, Buffalo chicken and VFC box, with onion rings and fries, everything was DELICIOUS.

Probably one my top 5 favorite vegan food I’ve ever had! Big menu with lot’s of options. Boyfriend and I got the Shrimp, Chik’n sandwich, fried Okra, Street Taco’s and a piece of the fried chicken. ( I think the chick’n is Gardein brand) Everything was super flavorful with a spicy kick, and was made fairly quick. We also got the Strawberry shake and the Banana pudding shake. Will definitely come back here when I’m back in Houston.

Best comfort food we've ever had! - Edit
We got the Korny burger and The VFC mix box with the okra and Mac. Everything tasted fantastic. The chickn had so much flavor and was juicy on the inside and perfectly crunchy. The Mac was so delicious, we've never had fried okra better than here, Korny sauce is unique and goes well with everything on the menu. The Korny burger was delicious, the bun was so flaky and light! We will be back for the rest of the menu.

the buffalo wings and the quesadilla are my favorite!!! everything was delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy, i can’t wait to go back again. their lattes are also very good, i’d go back just for their hazelnut latte.

I was in the neighborhood and needed lunch and found this place on HappyCow. I enjoyed the food and the vibe. Glad we have another place to eat delicious Vegan food. My only issue (an issue I have with many Vegan restaurants) is that the prices are pretty high. It’s 2021, I think it’s time to stop charging so much for Vegan food.

Had a wonderful time at Korny Vibes eating a burger, fries, and a shake - all of which were vegan. Everything tasted really good and the shake was amazing. The staff were super duper cool friendly people and I felt very welcome. Everything on the menu is vegan.

I had the Buffalo “chicken” sandwich with fries and a Mexican Coke. Food was hot, soda was cold, all was good. My only regret was that I should have gotten the fried pickles like the table next to me, because they looked delicious. Parking is limited; I parked about a block over and walked. Not that big a deal when the weather is nice.

Food would have been good but it was cold. Ice cold. Thing is we waited 1/2 hour for food to be ready, checked on it 10 minutes before getting it, it was not ready then. Why was it cold. All of it. Shame. We were eating in our truck, outdoor tables were full. So it did not go far.

Got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was so good! Can’t remember the last time I had “chicken” since usually places only have impossible burger. Staff was very friendly and it is very filling so the price is well worth it! I was able to take home my fries since the sandwich was so filling. Highly recommend if in Houston😄

I'm a fegan (fetus vegan)& soooooo happy that I made the trip. Parking leaves much to be desired but the food was really good. I've been going through meat withdrawals & the VFC box was perfect...I highly recommended this location as a baby vegan; I feel like I can actually do this. OH! Don't forget the Korny sauce it's a must.

I believe in supporting independent and vegan restaurants, esp. during Covid-19. But their online menu stated you can buy single pieces of fried chicken, wing and drumsticks - which you can't.

Here's what's good - mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp, fried dish, regular fried chicken.
Here's what's OK - mac n cheese, fried okra, curly fries.
Here's what's not good - customer service. I order drumsticks that were almost burnt - they were inedible. I ordered lemon chicken (I told them I couldn't eat spicy) they gave me spicy. We waited 40 minutes for our food to go and paid over $100. You think they'd care whether the order is correct.
Other things I didn't like outside of their control - a person parking in the disabled spot without a disabled sticker, and we sat at a table way in the corner with masks on, and 2 guys came in without masks and sat right next to us - even though the entire dining room was empty.
The website stated that several things were on sale, but we were charged the full price - which we wouldn't have ordered otherwise. Get your act together guys. Make sure that your online menu is correct. Or, have a big disclaimer that prices and selections can change without notice. Or, refer diners to something you do update daily, like Twitter. There's no excuse for inaccurate information.

Unfortunately, went with family 2/23/2020 and was towed due to unclear signs. While this is not directly KV fault. I will no longer be going to this establishment after that traumatizing experience.

I've long followed this restaurant since it's good truck beginnings. In Houston I've always touted them as one of the vegan vendors that does "chicken" the best.
Recently got the chance to visit their brick and mortar on Valentine's to see how setting roots has faired on the food. Per the holiday they had a specialized menu. I had the KV Welly ("beef" Wellington) which was delicious, and my galentine had the KV CFS ("chicken fried steak") which had an unexpected spice in the chicken.
Overall pretty darn delicious. Expensive, but that's expected eating out anywhere now days.
Pros: Great flavor, best vegan chick'n, cute space, Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive, Limited parking (high chance of getting towed)

Great Fried Food - Edit
I have tried a few different dishes from tacos, Chickn and Mac sandwich, and the flauta plate. My first visit to the physical restaurant, the appetizers and meal came out at the same time. The beans and rice with the flauta plate were not warm so I just took that plate to go and we ate the appetizers there. The fried pickles were my favorite!

Love these guys so much. Happy to see them grow from truck to brick and mortar. Enjoy the CFS with mashed potatoes and green beans. Always super tasty. Last visit had the sliders and they were incredible. Would like the option for less heat in some items but overall enjoy everything on the menu.

This place is really a fun spot for some comfort food. I would like to say I did not eat all the curly fries I was given, but...that would be a lie! The Chickn patty itself was decent. The buffalo sauce was great. Fries were good. Onion ring was awesome!

We drove over 30 minutes to eat lunch here. Not only were they out of alfredo sauce (at 11 in the morning) which is the main thing i was excited about. They had no kids menues but they did have highchairs?... and on top of that, i was frustrated when they could not mix and match food. Ex, my kids wanted mac n cheese. They refused to sell it as a side or exchange it for a side for anything it didnt come with on the menu. What kind of restaurant dosen't offer sides and substitutions?

While the staff is amazingly friendly and the restaurant nicely appointed in a supposedly “hip” neighborhood, the food options they offer make it surprisingly a “2 thumbs down” type of place. I live in a city that knows vegan food. This restaurant would never make it where I am from. The food is on par with a fancy school lunch in the cafeteria of your middle school. The most unfortunate part to this is that for the substandard vegan fare, you will find yourself dropping some decent coin. I would advise any true vegan to stay clear of this place if you want a compelling meal. The owner/ management need to travel to LA, NYC, Portland, Barcelona (even Orlando, Florida!!) and find out how tasty vegan food is made.
