Favorite dinner spot in Lisbon so far, strongly recommend! - Edit
We had two mocktails– piña colada and strawberry daiquiri. They were both a 10/10.
Read moreCheese platter and fried cuttlefish were extremely tasty 10/10. We tried the mushrooms with strawberry chutney as well, we usually love mushrooms but didn't like this as much maybe a 6/10.
The francesinha was very good, 9/10.
We have tried 3 takes on vegan pasteis de nata in Lisbon, the pastel de nata with nata gelato from Kong was the best unquestionably thr best– a 10/10.
The staff are also friendly, charidmatic, and work extremely hard to get everyone their food quickly even when every seat is full. They are so efficient and quick, it's mesmerizing to see them at work. This is definitely a professional and efficient kitchen and restaurant.

Comida portuguesa veganizada. Sabores muy equilibrados y deliciosos. El sitio es espacioso, cómodo y bonito. Pero sin duda, lo que más destaco es la atención. Amabilidad total, nos ofrecieron agua aparte de la bebida y pasaron a preguntar si nos había gustado todo. Personal super atento y rápido, te hacen sentir como en casa. Además tienen productos de higiene femenina en los baños. Un 10.

Very special experience in the heart of Lisbon - Edit
Service here is so quick and attentive. We had the famous ‘ribs’ and ‘salmon’ as mains. Salmon was our favourite. It’s honestly so so good. Highly recommend. We also had the croquettes, which are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Pretty affordable for a more up market dining experience! Bonus points for being fully vegan - including all drinks.

Read moreStarter : We started with the Fried “Cuttlefish” made from eryngii mushrooms with alioli and lemon. It was super tasty, with a texture really close to calamari.
🥤 The juice of the day (pineapple, orange, mint) was fresh and delicious.
Main dishes : I had the Mediterranean “Salmon” (tofu, mashed spinach, grated potatoes, sesame). It was absolutely perfect, flavorful, beautifully textured, and surprisingly close to salmon in taste and look. Everything on the plate was delicious, especially the blue sauce that made it even prettier.
My partner had the Oven-Baked “Ribs” made from seitan with red wine sauce, mashed potatoes and grilled Bimi. It was also super tasty, rich, and comforting.
For dessert, we shared the Pineapple Carpaccio with lime zest and coconut ice cream, the perfect fresh and balanced sweet ending.🍍
The plates were beautifully presented, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The waiter was kind, attentive and smiling, and even the chef came to greet people at the tables, ask for feedback and answer questions, such a lovely touch!
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, well ventilated, clean, and even the bathrooms are spotless and thoughtfully equipped. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of food and service.

Everything is really good. I recommend having the Vieiras com Chutney de Morango com Molho de Champagne and the Cod dishes. Didn’t have time for dessert but will be back to try them. Worth the trip!

Das Kong bietet eine kleine, aber feine Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Wir begannen mit der Käseplatte und entschieden uns dann für den mediterranen Lachs und den Portuguese ‘Cod’ als Hauptgerichte. Zum Abschluss gönnten wir uns noch den Pistazienkuchen und den Käsekuchen. Jedes Gericht war köstlich. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We were completely blown away by the dishes we had especially the bacalau in my opinion. Steak was also great, the fact that anyone would choose animal ribs over seitan ribs when THESE exist??

For the first time in many years, we “accidentally” had real scallops. We haven’t seen those before, but we do know they are vegan and we enjoy them. Finally the pistachio cake blew our minds!
Pros: The pistachio cake and bacalau were incredible , Glad they have all-vegan wines. , Great place to start a party evening!
Cons: Would have loved to have a better server , House wine was very average🥹

L'endroit est très agréable et l'équipe est adorable de gentillesse et de bienveillance. Et que dire de la nourriture ! C'est le meilleur restaurant vegan où j'ai pu mangé actuellement (et j'en ai testé pas mal). Si vous passez à Lisbonne, il faut absolument y aller. Ce sont des plats portugais revisités en version vegan. Nous étions deux et nous avons tout partagé, tout était excellent. C'est très copieux mais les desserts sont légers. 62€ à deux avec entrée/plat/dessert chacun et deux petites boissons. Cela les vaut largement !

Vegan Salmon - looked very fancy but was not as good as it looked. Basically Tofu with some Nori sheets around. The sides were amazing though.

Delicious. Wanted to move to Lisbon due to the food scene. Thrilled to try a veganised classic dish - bitoque. All elements were delicious from 'fake steak' and 'egg' to the rice accompaniment. I had croquettes for starter at the servers recommendation but maybe I am just never that amazed by croquettes? Would like to try the 'fish' dishes next time

This restaurant is probably where vegans will be able to ensure their protein intake is being met as it does not solely serve seitan which was a nice change.
