Serves meat, vegan options available. Ramen shop offering hand-made noodles with vegan options such as miso ramen and tantan men, both of which can be made vegan by removing eggs. Also serves edamame. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
Ok ramen, flavour was nothing special on both vegan options. I’ve had way better ramen. We asked to replace the corn with nori and they accommodated our request without charging extra.
They can make the miso ramen and tantanmen vegan by removing the marinated egg on the miso ramen and removing the pork mince and marinated egg on the tantanmen. They didn’t add anything else of course to make the ramen more attractive to eat.
Although the noodles and the broth were good, although both are spicy, it’s always disappointing when you have to remove things to make it vegan. It would be nice if they made something dedicated to a plant-based diet. Flavoured soy mince would have been an easy thing to add for the tantanmen and soy steak marinated and grilled like chashu would also not be too much trouble.
