It was a great experience: I had a mezze plate wirh different vegetables, rice, salad and sauces for €7.50 ~ and a delicious little cake for €2.50. It‘s exspecially cozy because of the fireplaces in the seating areas.

Das Essen im Kochwerk hat mich geschmacklich sehr überzeugt! Die Zutaten waren frisch und gut gewürzt, die Mitarbeitenden freundlich und die Atmosphäre gemütlich. Die wöchentlich wechselnde Karte umfasst immer eine Suppe, einen Eintopf, ein Salat und das Tagesgericht. Kaffe und Kuchen werden ebenfalls angeboten.

Täglich andere Karte (Hauptgericht, Suppe, Eintopf, Salat) , die sich erst nach vielen Wochen wiederholt, preislich voll angemessen und alles frisch und liebevoll angerichtet. Fantastisch - ich würde hier jeden Tag essen, aber "leider" wohne ich nicht in Görlitz ;-)
Ersatzprodukte sind nicht zu finden und auch nicht-vegane Menschen dürften hier einfach einen Teller frischen, leckeren Essens vor sich sehen.
Eine wahre Freude war es außerdem, zu sehen wie gut das tolle Angebot angenommen wird. Im Minutentakt gingen sympathische Menschen kurz rein und kamen mit einer favorisieren Köstlichkeit glücklich heraus. Wunderbar!

The Kochwerk is an amazing bistro in the center of Görlitz. It offers different vegan dishes (100% vegan!) such as soups, salads and other with seasonal products and in a good size. The prices are absolutely low, regarding the amount and the quality of the food.
