My first Knafeh and it was so delicious. Sweet, fatty, perfect. Just make sure there is no Muslim holidays because it might be closed - i had to go there twice because i was not aware of this.

Well, that's the best knaffeh I had, and I tried several vegan knaffehs.
Read moreIt's hot and fresh, they prepare your dish on demand. It's sweet, but not crazy over sweet like many others. It's just balanced with the other flavors, and the cashew cheese works great.
Halil, the owner, is super nice! You get the vegan active discount with no issues, and he asked me to mention it when I said I'll add a review, so I guess it's the regular policy :)
Happycow support 5 stars only to fully vegan places (to encourage them, and I appreciate and support it), but this technical constraint is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars.

Tasty vegan knafeh — not too sweet, not too greasy, perfect portion size. Goat cheese imitation it salty and sour as it should be but the texture is creamy and doesn’t feel like melted cheese. Not the best knafeh I had but definitely a good one.
