really good Korean vegan - Edit
in a crowded Asian market for vegan food ( mostly Viet) Korean vegan stands out.
Read moreThe food served is quite tasty.
what is left to be improved is the service.
I was oscillating between 3 and 4 Stars due to that. My Order took a while to come, but when it did it wasn't the complete Order. I did remind them about it, and it finally arrived at the end.
When you Order Tapas Style food, It IS important that all that comes together. That was quite disappointing.
overall, a good food experience with a lot to be desired.

Super - Edit
The food was really great! The kimchi was delicious (and spicy ❤️🔥). I loved that they also had Korean sodas - the peach soda was really good!!! The atmosphere is a bit “cool” but I think it works with the aesthetics of the place and it’s definitely still a cosy vibe! Can definitely recommend 😌

Overrated but still good - Edit
"Kkokki Vegan House" is a good spot, with a great service and a nice atmosphere, but the food was a bit disappointing. The rice had a very light and watery taste, and the rest was also lightly seasoned. It was also very loud, so it is hard to hear and understand each other when you come with someone else. But like I said, the staff was very nice and the ordering system was different but cool.

Just great! - Edit
The food was delicious and the place really makes you feel like you're in Korea eating street food. Very charming! ☺️ And in my opinion the dishes were more than big enough to fill you up!

Very nice - Edit
The food was very nice and the vibe was great. I was very impressed with the korean fried tofu dish - finally a place that is definitely not stingy with tofu - there was about three times more tofu than rice which was great. We also got a few small plates that were all lovely but very different in size for the same price

Some of the best food I ever had - Edit
I went here with a friend and ordered 6 different Tapas plus 2 fried eggs so we'd be able to try as much different stuff as possible. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! The fried egg tasted exactly like a chicken egg, it was mindblowing! Also I am very bad with spicy food but still loved both the mild Gochujang sauce and the wasabi mayo. Even the drink (we had the barkeeper's special) was absolutely delicious and unique. Also, as many people have mentioned, the atmosphere is really cool and makes you feel like you're at an actual Korean streetfood market. 1000/10! ✨

Form over substance - Edit
[EN] Honestly, I came to this place with a positive attitude after seeing so many positive reviews online. The spot has a nice vibe cause it is styled like an Asian street food market, where you can feel exotically. The order is placed on a piece of paper by writing down numbers and pressing the button.
Read moreThat's where the pluses end because, unfortunately, the dishes were very small for the price. We did not eat ours fill at all. In addition, the veggies were al dente and did not blend well with melting tteokbokkis.
I think that this place has so many positive reviews because of the exotic atmosphere there. In my view, it is a form over substance - I would prefer to eat delicious Korean food in a less lit decor.
Pros: Nice decor and vibe
Cons: Mediocre food, small portions

Fantastisch! - Edit

Lovely place to try out different Korean food, all vegan! We went there for dinner and no reservations was necessary. Tapas as well as the main courses were extremely delicious. Very friendly waitresses/waiters and super fast preparation. Great vegan place 🤭

Super delicious but small portions - Edit
We ordered online here. Was super excited to try tteokbokki but unfortunately, it was too spicy for us (although we can handle spice quite well usually). Chicken mix was delicious tho, would definitely recommend

Food was yummy, unfortunately service was a bit slow and not the friendliest, and they were out of dessert. Personally I'd love to see a few more protein options too!

WE LOVE KKOKKI VEGAN HOUSE - Edit
The meals were just perfect. It tasted sooo good. I had high expectations because I wanted to be immersed into South Korean food and style. We need Kkokki in (Flanders) Belgium! The best vegan restaurant I’ve ever went to. Loving the vibe too! Also very friendly waiters. I’ll be dreaming about this food for a long time. The watermelon drink was *chef’s kiss*, the flavours of the meals were 10/10. I wish tteokkbokki was not so spicy due to the gochujang but I get it! It’s part of the original experience. You HAVE TO VISIT when you’re an hour (or even more!) away from Hamburg. Like it’s a must. Do not skip. You’ll never know what you’ll miss, but I will know because the good flavours will always stay in my memories.
