wait what? I was there yesterday and only today found that supermarket on happy cow as my hotel is close-by.
Read moreI didn’t find a lane with vegan products so so have to come back there.
But: It was the first japanese store were I found vegan noodle boxes and they even say „vegan“. Took them both a bunch of tofu (here you have to use translation if you don’t speak japanese as i also fpund some tofu that was boiled in fish soup).
Pros: vegan labeled tofu boxes , very good tofu (standard in Japan)

I was thrilled to find this place located 1 min from JR Nara Station toward Grand buddha temple ! Has amazing selection of vege goods they even have frozen soy meat!! I also got マグマオンセン(Magma Onsen) at the bath goods corner. You can put the sachet with Beppu Hot Spring powder into a bathtub for a hot bath (detoxing) Amazing!!
