Great atmosphere. The starters, the shrimp taco and the tofu cubes, were great, but the main dish, the francesinha, was very unpleasant and even seemed possibly spoiled, as we left with stomach aches

Es ist immer so ein Luxus, wenn alles Speisen vegan sind. Es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wie waren nur einen Tag in Porto sonst wäre ich jeden Tag hingegangen um mich durch die Karte zu kosten. Service freundlich. Restaurant gemütlich, gut gefüllt. Service ging dennoch schnell.

My favourite in Porto - Edit
I stayed in Porto for 4 weeks and even though there are many great vegan places to choose from, I went back to kind kitchen several times. Best was the udon noodles with the amazing egg! Also the cashew/tofu burrata.

Came here twice during my trip to Porto. For lunch, I tried the Francesinha, which was a bit disappointing, unfortunately. There were a lot of mushrooms inside, which I liked, but I didn’t like the cheese (I missed a stronger cheese flavour). The dish was also a bit too salty. I also ordered a green salad on the side, which was very tasty. I loved the vegan feta made from tofu.
Read moreFor dinner, I tried the salmon bowl. I really liked this dish and would definitely recommend it! The tofu salmon had a lot of flavour, it was delicious.
Although I didn’t like the Francesinha (maybe it’s just not my kind of dish), I would come back when I’m in Porto again.

My wife got the Mediterranean bowl, and I got the curry tofu. I would say that the med bowl had a bit more wow than mine, but both were excellent. We would have liked to try more, but had time problems.

Read moreThe nuggets were amaaaaaaazing! You have to get them as a starter. The salad was lovely, the mock meat they used is so good and it was fresh and delicious. The chimichurri steak wasn’t the best! The seitan was very chewy.
The salmon bowl was our favorite! So good. The tofu was amazing.
They didn’t have vegan egg so we weren’t able to try it.
I loved the pastel de nata! It was really nice and big. The drinks are good as well!

Après une matinée à déambuler dans Porto sous la pluie, j’ai été ravie de trouver cette adresse 100% vegan. Mon copain et moi avons tous les deux pris le smahed burger qui était délicieux. Le burger est assez conséquent, et les frites étaient très bonnes. Malheureusement estomac trop rempli pour un dessert mais ils donnaient envie.

Sono rimasta sconvolta dall "uovo fritto" che era davvero impressionante, sia come gusto che come consistenza.
La Francesinha eccezionale, goduriosa al massimo e con l' "uovo" super speciale! I nuggets buonissimi e anche le falatel.
Avrei voluto assaggiare molte più cose!

I tried the francesinha topped with a fried “egg” and it was incredible — honestly one of the best vegan comfort dishes I’ve had. The egg looked and tasted uncannily like the real thing.
Read moreMy friend went for the Middle Eastern plate with whipped vegan cream and it was packed with flavour and beautifully done. I left wishing I’d come with a bigger appetite because I wanted to try everything on the menu.
I also got a croissant and pistachio cookie for breakfast the next day, and the cookie was amazing: sweet, soft, tasty, with a creamy centre!
The staff were warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming, and the space itself is cute and cosy.

Read moreI've been trying various vegan places from Lisbon to Porto and Kind Kitchen was by far my favourite! The cashew burrata was exquisite and the Yaki Soba was really tasty, as was the soup and the French Toast! The gelato was also a really nice suprise!
The mocktails were also different and interesting and the staff were really lovely - I'm overjoyed with my experience here!

We had the crispy tofu bao and empanada for starters. "Salmon" bowl and Yaki udon for mains. All the food was delicious, the starters were especially yummy! We were amazed at how much the "egg yolk" on the Yaki udon looked and smelled like an egg yolk. Good portion size, good service and a nice cozy atmosphere too.
