Not your usual Indian place - Edit
Really interesting vegetarian Mumbai Street Food place with clearly marked vegan options. They have this interesting concept of individual dishes that are sized like big snacks, and not full meals, and for that they are appropriately priced. You can get two dishes for 7,50 each, which will fill you up quite nicely. Sadly none of the sandwiches are vegan, but there's plenty other stuff that I hadn't seen in Berlin on menus before. We had the Samosa Chaat (only vegetarian, was pointed out as a house speciality to us), Vada Pav and Ragada Patties. All the dishes were well-seasoned - not all of them spicy, but with flavours that linger for a while. My omni partner liked the Samosa Chaat the best. I thought the Ragada Patties tasted the best, but the Vada Pav was more interesting, because I'd never had it before: a deep-fried potato filling in a burger bun. It was a little dry and quite spicy, so I'd loved to have something fresh or crunchy with it. Or maybe a chutney. I was a little sad they didn't have vegan chai masala, because my partner's chai looked really nice - although the portion was quite small.
Read moreThe place positively reminded as a little of an Indian place in England that we frequented, where they served the local Indian community. We've never been to India, but this place seemed to us quite authentic. The staff was friendly & the service was quick.

Only vegetarian and vegan options, the food is amazing! I really recommend visiting the market and this place! 10/10 food 🤤
