Wartezeit auf Essen über eine Stunde - Edit
Wenn man kommt, gleich darauf aufmerksam machen, das man so lange warten muss. Ich habe das erst nach 20 Minuten erfahren und bin dann wieder gegangen, kann das Essen also nicht beurteilen. #Veganuary

Die Katzen 😻😻😻
Obwohl ich Fast Food gegessen habe, hat das Essen 20 Minuten gedauert. So muss das sein. Und obwohl es nichts Besonderes war, war es sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr sympathisch und während eines Restaurantbesuchs Katzen beobachten ist einfach mega!

Good food, great vibe - Edit
Fully vegan restaurant with rescue cats chilling all over the place, which already makes it a go to spot. The food is very good also - I had a Burger Del Gatto which comes with pesto and really nice vegan mozzarella, homemade fries, and a side salad. The staff are very friendly and move around at a leisurely pace.

Firstly it’s all (100%) vegan, what’s not to like on that front. Secondly they adopt cats from rescue centres. Very cool indeed. Definitely a place worth visiting in this beautiful city.

Wir haben den Katzentempel zu zweit besucht. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war aber leider abgesehen vom Salat sehr enttäuschend.
Read moreAm Tempelsandwich wurde der Hähnchenersatz (Hauptzutat!) vergessen und das Brot war leider sehr trocken. Beilagen-Pommes waren leider vollgesaugt mit Fett, waren wohl viel zu lange in der Friteuse.
Immerhin wurde uns als Entschädigung ein Getränk aufs Haus angeboten.

Lovely smiley service, cute cats around you, decent portions but... unfortunately the quality of food isn't that great. Protein in burgers/sandwiches was a bit cold, salad needed some seasoning etc etc. It's a pity as I love the concept of this restaurant very much.

The menu has many options: bowls, salads, sandwiches , soups, burgers. I would prefer some more bowls (or options without bread). I loved the salad I got, and my non-vegan boyfriend enjoyed his beyond burger. The seating is big and spacious, and has a nice atmosphere!

At first I really liked the cat temple in Regensburg, but every time something was not there. Once a drink on the main menu, then a dish or another something else.

During the week you have to wait an hour for a sandwich even though there are not many visitors, which is a shame.
General info: The new summer menu is also super disappointing, only ready products of faux meat, homemade seitan no longer available.

I understand that some people enjoy the novelty of eating with cats but the food here is really nothing special and extremely over priced. If you want the novelty of cats I would recommend to take a coffee or something small and then go somewhere else for food.

Had hot chocolate with Cream on top and a cherry cream chocolate cake. The cake was big slice made of three layers with Cream and whole cherries in between. Found the cake to be quite dry and cream bland. Recipe needs improvement. The price appears to be quite expensive.

The seating area are very close to each other and uncomfortable to sit on.
All cats in-house are rescued and have some sort of illness.

Centrally located in inner city, 10 easy mins walk from central train station. Friendly staff & cats. All warm food sadly contains garlic 🧄 Salad is very good, cake & coffee, too. Peaceful place, several seats upstairs. Friedly, bright room. Note that opening hours may be late, try to come not before 12 noon.

Cute cats meet tasty vegan cake - Edit
We visited the Katzentempel on our trip to Regensburg and were lucky to arrive in time, as the café was understaffed and had to close early that day. The staff was very friendly and we were served pretty quickly. We ordered coffee and cake and got one extra piece of cake for free when the waitress realised that mine was way smaller than that of my companion ;-). I totally recommend the baked apple cake. The cats kept their distance, but were cute to look at. Katzentempel is a chain of cafés.

The place is nice. There are cats and is all vegan. I didn't like much the staff. She make me sit in the bench although there were free table. I take the sandwiches with salad and at lunch they can have a menu for 10 euro with salad (limited option). I also did not like that I couldn't pay with card since my bill was less than 20 euro. Food was simple but good.

The place is really roomy, quiet and cute, with a lot of toys for the cats that live there.
Read moreWe had just a snack, a piece of cake: they have also main dishes and some beverages, like coffee, soft drinks and cocktails.
The taste was really good, and the price was okay (4.50€); cakes are not on the menu because they made new ones everyday.
Nevertheless, we saw the menu and the prices are quite high for everything else (13€-15€ for main dishes).
You can pay with card only for 20€ checks.

Wir waren am Samstag da, kennen das Konzept aus Nürnberg und mögen es sehr. In Nürnberg war aber bisher das Essen nicht immer perfekt, zwar immer gut, aber eben nicht mehr. Das änderte sich am Samstag in Regensburg. Das Essen war großartig, das Personal Klasse, die Location super schön. Ein rundum perfektes Erlebnis 💚✌️Ist schon vom Konzept ne 5 von 5 aber in Regensburg würde ich sogar noch einen drauf setzen :).

Vegan options and cats - Edit
We went here cause we are big fans of the Munich Katzentempel. The menu is identical but the vibe by far not. It wasn't as cosy as we're used to. Of course the cats were the cutest but they had almost no cake choices on a typical Sunday afternoon. Normally there are min 4 to 6 different cakes. The coffee was nice.
