Lecker, aber teuer - Edit
Der Beyond Meat Burger war sehr lecker, jedoch war er recht klein, dafür ziemlich teuer. Das Konzept ist aber insgesamt sehr gut, und für das Wohl der Katzen muss man dann mit einem etwas höheren Preis rechnen.

Kind staff but unsatisfied with the food - Edit
The staff was very nice but they didn't pay attention to our allergies to cashew. Although I mentionned twice my allergies (once before ordering and once when our dish arrived), they still served us with cashew and I had a severe reaction.. I didn't have my epipen so it could have ended up in the krankenwagen if I hadn't rushed in the toilet to throw up. After the allergie, I was again told the sandwich we took didn't contain any cashewnut until another waiter confirmed there actually was cashew. Plus we had to wait a lot as they first prepared the wrong dish. The food was okay but the sandwich a bit dry, the fries a bit soft and oily and the cake was good but old.

Tasty food and big servings - Edit
The food was wellmade and their servings are big enough for you to leave the restaurant without getting hungry for the next couple of hours. They have alternating cakes with glutenfree options. The cats seemed relaxed and had enough space to roam around. Even though I am allergic to catshair I had no problems eating there with my friends. I had no allergic reaction but I also kept away from the cats.

Ein schöner Ort zum Frühstücken mit sehr freundlichem Personal und wirklichen tollen Katzen! Der Umgang der MitarbeiterInnen mit den Tieren scheint auch sehr gut sein.

Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich und auch auf das Wohl der anwesenden Tiere bedacht. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr gut. Die warmen Getränke hätten jedoch wärmer sein können. Vor allem der Kakao, der für den Preis durchaus noch etwas vegane Sahne verdient hätte. Wir hatten dann noch die Pancakes, wobei es sich dabei lediglich um einen gehandelt hatte. Schön war, dass dieser nicht so süß war. Insgesamt war er auch sehr lecker, jedoch hätten es für den Preis durchaus zwei sein können. Das vegane Rührei war dagegen eine sehr angemessene Portion und insgesamt wirklich gut gewesen.

Read moreThis Café is a bit more expensive, because they cook everything by themselves and use fresh, regional, products. We absolutely love spending time here and it's our favorite place to go to in Nuremberg.
Make sure to book a table as it gets crowded (esp. on weekends)

Sehr schönes Cafe - Edit
Es gibt hier tolle vegane Kuchen und Torten. Aber das beste sind natürlich die Katzen, die hier leben und betreut werden. Dafür bezahle ich gerne ein bisschen mehr ( und es ist auch nur ein bisschen). Und man darf die Katzen auch streicheln ( wenn sie es wollen).

Das Essen, insbesondere die Süßspeisen, ist sehr lecker und auch recht günstig! Der Besitzer scheint ein bisschen anstregend zu sein, vllt. hatte er aber auch einfach nur viel zu tun. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Katzen sind verrückt :)

It's a very nice place for cats, it's clean, beautiful, lot things for the cats, but the human experience wasn't very good for me and didn't seemed to be for the other tables neither. Good for a drink to visit the cat's temple.

Wanted to try this place and finally had the chance. Loved the green salad with amazing herb dressing and a couple slices of bread. Server was very polite and friendly. Owner was not so pleasant.

I just had a 1h stop in Nuremberg but really wanted to eat a vegan cake so I went to this place as I’ve never been to a cat cafe. ITS NOT ANIMAL ABUSE. These cats can walk around there and came from the pound (Tierheim). They’re really enjoying the attention! Also the coconut-mango cheese cake I had was A DREAM! 😍

Hey, just wanted to let you know that the cats are not used for entertainment in this café. They are all strays, from sanctuaries, etc. It's a much better place for them to be than at a crowded animal shelter.

A purrfect experience - Edit
We had a great time at Cafe Katzentemple! There are six cats roaming about the cafe, which immediately brightened my mood, especially when they suddenly appear under your chair. The food was also great and I was absolutely stuffed by the end. They have a dessert fridge that is not on the menu and most items are vegan with the exception of optional cows milk with drinks.
