I came here twice. The first time I got the purriyaki sandwich and it tasted really good. The second time I got a breakfast toast with beans and tofu eggs and my friend got the smoothie bowl. Their dinner options seem better than their breakfast ones.

I had about 3 days to explore Munich and came back here a total of 3 times. The food was very good, though admittedly not my favorite. It was the cats, the people, and the overall vibe of the place that kept me coming back. I thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The matcha and chai lattes, and the croissant were my highlights from the three meals I enjoyed here. Absolutely worth a visit, especially if you’re a cat lover!! 🐈🐈⬛

Katzentempel is the coziest place for lunch in Munich! This cafe is entirely vegan with a good selection of salads, sandwiches, curries and tower of daily cakes. To top it all off you are surrounded by some furry friends :)

The staff was very kind. We showed proof of vaccination and sat in the window with 2 sweet kitties. One Siamese was very friendly and climbed into my friend’s lap for cuddles. The food was really delicious. A staff member even called a taxi for us!

Superb food and ice cream sundae - Edit
My friend and I came here without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon and got a table without any problems. The back of the restaurant was frequented by 3 cats as well, which made our visit even nicer. We ordered the regular beyond burger and a Waldkatzenburger, the portion of fries seemed a little bit underwhelming, the food was really really good nevertheless. My highlight of the day was the sundae with mango, chocolate and vanilla ice cream and a huge serving of vegan whipped cream which was so rich and heavy it reminded me so much of my omni days. Will definitely come back to try the cakes.
