Wir waren zu zweit unter der Woche gegen 14:30 Uhr dort. Dort wurden wir herzlich empfangen von einem freundlichen Personal und haben sofort einen Platz bekommen.

Die ganze Speisekarte ist vegan und Allergene wurden gekennzeichnet. Die Preise lagen ein paar Euro über dem Standard eines Restaurants/ Cafés, das aber gerechtfertigt durch die Pflege der Katzen, ebenso der Mühe hinter dem Service Küche.
Pros: Große Auswahl an veganen Speisen/ Getränken, Angenehmes Ambiente/ freundliches Personal, Wohltätiger Zweck für Katzen

Food was really great. Generally the place is fantastic. Everyone is nice and chilled. It is also a family friendly place and cats are not scared of little kids (but of course every parent needs to keep an eye on the little ones to not annoy fluffy friends).

Vegan food + cats? What could be more perfect? I regret waiting until my last day in Leipzig to visit this cafe. I enjoyed my sandwich, fries, and tiramisu. I think I even got to see all of the cats! Be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Lovely and clean, friendly staff, the food is amazing! I could eat there every day. The cats are adorable. There isn’t a bad thing I could say. Loved it. Some of the best vegan meals I’ve had. Certainly the best in Leipzig.

Musste mich auf die Warteliste setzen lassen, aber vor Ort war maximal 1/3 besetzt, auch während meines Aufenthalts maximal 50%.
Ich nehme an, die Warteliste kann recht abschreckend wirken und viele sehen von einer solchen ab - was sehr schade ist.
Telefonnummer muss bei der Wartelistenbuchung auch angegeben werden, die Reservierunsbestätigung kam jedoch nur per email, was ich erst gar nicht wahrnahm und so musste ich mich sehr beeilen, noch rechtzeitig anzukommen.

Cats and vegan food is the best combination. Amazing place with nice staff, both two and four (three) legged. Make sure you have the reservation to avoid disappointment of not being able to come on busy days. The food is delicious, they know how to satisfy picky cat tongues. Cats are roaming around so you might be able to see most of them. Overall great place to spend your time, definitely recommended!

This is an amazing restaurant with lots of friendly cats 😍 and a fully vegan menu. We had the Catperol Spritz, Meowjitos, Ginger-mint Tea, Espresso, the Cheezeburger, Tempelfritten and the Tiger Bowl. It was all very fresh and so tasty! Staff was friendly and the Cats were posing for photos. WE had such a good time here 😍😍😍

Convinced my non vegan sister to join me for dinner and some time with furry friends at the Katzentempel and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and it didn't take long for a sweet feline to grace us with their presence.

I liked my visit to the Katzentempel a lot, the cats are very cute and freely roam around and the staff was extremely attentive and accomodating! Our waiter asked if we wanted to pay just by noticing our body language and one time when a cat was nearby he waited to move till everybody around had been able to take a picture which was very kind. They also give the cats affection when passing them and seem to have good bonds with them. The food was good, we shared a breakfast for two and ordered the scrambled tofu in addition. I've had better scrambled tofu before but I thought the banana bread was very delicious, so was their chocolate spread, guacamole and jam. My favorite thing was that they take in cats in need and look for people who want to give them a home, they have flyers up for all cats still looking for adoption as well as the ones who've recently already found a home. That was extremely positive. The restaurant is very busy so I recommend reserving a table in advance, we didn't and got seated in a corner of the restaurant I didn't find that comfortable (kind of dark, right by the kitchen and not as many cats). Overall a very positive experience.

Es war so toll dort! Die Katzen sind untraentspannt und das rein vegane Angebot top! Wir hatten Frühstück, es war mega gut! Vor allem die Erbsamole und das Bananenbrot! Ein Traum! Auch das Rührei aus Tofu fand ich sehr lecker. 100% Empfehlung!

High quality food, friendly staff, great location, lovely cats. I definitely recommend this place. But the coffee was actually disappointing. They use a WMF fully automated coffee machine which in my opinion doesn’t taste great and besides that was quite overpriced.
