A must for cat lovers - Edit
Fully vegan cat cafe with a great variety on the menu, including all day breakfast options, lunch options and delicious cakes. And their five resident cats are lovely - if you are lucky, you will get a cat on your lap for the meal. Well worth the visit, easy walking distance from Hamburg Town Hall/Ratthaus, and I recommend a stroll through Planten und Blomen park to get there.

Das Essen war mega lecker, besonders toll klangen die Winter Specials. Ich hatte den karamelligen Lotus Latte und dazu das Special Kürbispfannkuchen. Als Nachtisch gab es den Snickerskuchen, der wirklich zu empfehlen ist! Das Essen ist liebevoll angerichtet und die Bedienung mega freundlich - wir waren eine Stunde eher da, konnten aber schon an den Tisch. Wir haben zwar nur kurz eine Katze gesehen, aber wenn man in ein solches Restaurant geht, kann man natürlich nicht erwarten, dass man immer viel zu Gesicht bekommt. Mir ist positiv aufgefallen, wie viele Klettermöglichkeiten und Ruheplätze die Katzen dort haben, zumal alle aus dem Tierschutz kommen. Es ist war alles hygienisch und ordentlich. Preislich befinden sich die Speisen im mittleren Spektrum. Ich fand auch gut, dass Kinder erst ab 10 Jahren ins Restaurant dürfen, um die Sicherheit der Tiere zu gewährleisten.

I know we’re all here for the cats, but on our trip to Hamburg, we found ourselves coming back for more than just that- this place offers gluten free bread, pancakes, you name it!
Read moreI have a pretty severe gluten intolerance and while they don’t cook in a separate kitchen, the dedicated utensils they use seemed to have done just fine for me (might not cur it for people with coeliacs though).
Besides that, the staff was wonderful in accommodating us and the place was lovely. Would definitely stop by again, when we’re in the neighbourhood.

Leckeres Essen, alles vegan. Alle Kaffeespezialitäten auch in Koffeinfrei möglich. Wir waren am Wochenende da, es war ziemlich voll und die Katzen haben sich versteckt. Haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu zweit bekommen, würden aber beim nächsten Mal doch lieber reservieren.

Read morevtl. soll es das Tierwohl unterstützen. Sehr wohl sind Familien aber in der Lage Kinder beim Umgang mit Tieren zu unterstützen und anzuleiten. Ein-Elternteil-Familien sind so systematisch ausgeladen und die Intelligenz von unter 10 jährigen schlichtweg ignoriert. Bitte um Besserung.

Reservation is recommended to make sure they have room inside, they seem to be very popular. We had to sit outside because we didn't make a reservation. But that's okay too. The food was very good, we had burgers with vegan cheese and bacon.

The cats seemed happy and unbothered by humans. They were all adopted from different countries. I enjoyed it and I wish I had the chance to come back to try the eggplant-herring, which sounded intriguing.

This is a vegan cat café. Do I need to say more? They take cats from animal shelters and give them a nice new home. The cats looked healthy, happy and were totally chilled. The food was very good. In fact it was even better than the non-vegan "originals" (as long as I remember from my pre-vegan life).

I always try to find a vegan cat cafe when we travel so this was a great find. Great menu selection as well as gorgeous rescue cats! It’s always good to see a cat cafe that focuses on the welfare of the cats rather than making them just a commodity to earn money. The cats come from all across Europe.
