Had the kolo mee with soup was good! Ask for chili if you like it spicy. May be crowded during lunch time so reserve a table!

Affordable Veg Eatery in Orchard - Edit
Wallet-friendly vegetarian F&B in a quiet building in Orchard. Dishes are all vegan and allium-free, while some drinks contain dairy. Personally didn't enjoy the Black Pepper Udon and Ban Mian Soup from my visit years ago (lots of starch and little ingredients), however I enjoyed the Bittergourd Tofu Rice, Thai Style Chicken Cutlet Rice (non-veg companion asked me if it was really vegan hahaha), and Fried Wantons from my recent visit! Hope the drinks can use plant-based milk in the future!

Kang Su, Scotts Road - Edit
Initially I thought its a starch, sauce, mock meat place, with a token green for garnish. Then spotted seasonal veg listed as a side dish. I thought the seasonal veg untasty. The other food tasted ok. Serving lady was pleasant enough.

Amazing! - Edit
Maybe the best dinner I’ve had in Singapore! I got the bun mian and wonton soup — and was delightfully surprised by both. Im actually still surprised at how delicious the wonton soup was — something I haven’t had since becoming vegetarian 20 years ago.

One of The Best In Town - Edit
Not sure what's not Vegan here? HC lists it as "vegetarian" but everything on their menu appears to be Vegan. Cashier confirmed everything I ordered was Vegan but I only ordered two dishes. The tofu scramble with the Thai style chicken dish helped ease my mind that everything is Vegan. Odd to have scrambled tofu and use eggs or dairy somewhere else. These two dishes however may be some of the best eats I've had in Singapore. Spicy, flavorful, and with good sized portions. This is a MUST when visiting. Cost is pretty good for the amount of food and quality you get. Located on the 5th floor of the Far East Plaza.

Comfortable eating place on level 5 of Far East Plaza - Edit
First time there with a non-veg fren. She tried the kolo mee dry and said it is not bad. I had the ban mian dry with chilli and it is tasty. We ordered a side of wu xiang. It had quite a bit of nuts inside besides yam. Passable. We will order the fried wantons next time.

Fantastic experience - Edit
After seeing the recommendation on here I thought I would give this place a go. Do not let the location put you off as it is on the 5th floor of a strange shopping /office block. The food was fantastic, best I have eaten so far in Singapore and it was very cheap.

Tried the Kang Su Kolo Mee. Not sure what’s kolo mee, so I gave it a try. It’s thinner noodle similar to instant one. The noodle tastes ok, while I find it more filling and satisfying to have the chicken rice.

Delicious and very affordable - Edit
We had our first lunch in Singapore there. On the 5th level of the Far East building, this little restaurant doesn't look like much. Everything is vegan according to the chef. We had the Crispy Thai Chicken with rice and a Ban Mian dry. We loved these so much that we also ordered take away for the evening and went back a few days later!

Food is good! - Edit
Im too excited to enjoy the food.
Read moreOrder Ban Miao Dry and Kolo Mee dry, both with chilis. Taste good (but I think there’s some MSG for flavouring, I can’t demerit them for this)
Order fried tou fu too and it’s amazing because apart from the piping hot dish, they took effort in making the sauce! It’s flavoured with lemon grass, lime leaf?, lime juice and chilis - not too spicy, well-balanced flavour)
Most shops normally put off the store sweet and spicy chili.
