Good prices, mostly meh food - Edit
They offer vegan options, but the menu regarding these vegan options can be a bit confusing. Staff could not answer exactly what is and what is not vegan. Eventually they called their boss to get the information, but only after we said one of our group members has a food allergy......
Read moreThe food itself was "meh" at best. Everything except the vegan nasi lemak was not that great. Soup had herbs (for example celery) which were not mentioned on the menu, and they were the herbs most of our group members disliked. It was also finely cut, so no option to extract it.
Side veggie was just a small bowl of spinach. No salt, no saus, just a bowl of lukewarm spinach. Disappointing.
If you plan to visit, order the vegan nasi lemak, you will not regret it!
Plastic straws (no longer allowed in NL, so illegal) were handed out for the drinks, which is very environmentally unfriendly.
Prices were great for the location, but that's it.
This place was once housed by the Vegetarische Snackbar, a famous vegetarian/vegan place to eat. I hope the new place will someday live up to that legacy.
