At Kamis you get a lot of good vegetarian and vegan food, for a small amount of money. You can not only take your food with you, but there are also some seats in the restaurant.

Not fully vegan, but a surprisingly large number of items on the menu that can be made vegan: sandwiches, pasta - and pizza! Basically all pizzas except for the tuna one can be veganized with vegan cheese and meats. Would give 5 stars for variety and taste, but that's not possible for non-veg restaurants. But it's a great place considering that it's in the Saarland, not exactly known to be a vegan-friendly (or even vegetarian-friendly) area in Germany.

You can have salad, pasta, sandwich or pizza. One dish out of 5 can be veganized on demand (you’ll have to ask for it, it is mentionned on the menu) you’ll have to pay a little extra.

I don´t know how many vegan baguette sandwiches I´ve had at Kami Express´s because they all taste really good and you get served fast. I had somehow forgotten that they also serve pizza with vegan meat and cheese. I recently had no. 36, the vegetarian pizza, vegan-style, twice, and really liked it both times. The vegan options are clearly labelled. The staff are friendly, relaxed and yet fast. My favourite vegan fast food place in Saarbrücken!

My favourite fast food restaurant in town - Edit
Kami Express is my favourite fast food restaurant in Saarbrücken due to its cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food is well seasoned and not too expensive. I like having a sandwich with fresh vegetables for 4€. But, watch out! Do not forget to ask for the vegan version upon ordering.
