Ok

Waiters don’t have any idea about what’s vegan. I asked the food with no yogurt, they brought the yogurt aside.
Luckily seems clean.

Pros: Open till late, A lot of seats

Cons: No vegan knowledge, A little too expensive for what is it

Kailash Parbat

The junior waiter believes vegan is synonymous with vegetarian.
The senior waiter then explained only 3 options are vegan; daal, chana masala and steamed rice.

Pros: 3 vegan options are better than none

Cons: All vegan is always better, Menu marking vegan items would be an improvement, Limited vegan options could easily be increased

Modern Indian Vegetarian

Modern Indian vegetarian eatery, quite pricey. Jain allium-free options are clearly marked out in the menu. Vegan options aren't indicated but the staff said that most Indo-Chinese dishes are vegan-friendly. Also tried the vegan paneer dishes made using Herbyvore yellow pea cottage cheese, but I'm not sure if they're still available. Hope vegan options can be labelled on the menu!

Great Chaat

Options suitable for vegans
: The Indo-Chinese menu items
-Some of the Chaat Menu such as samosa chaat without yogurt, sev puri, pain puri.
The main Indian menu is not vegan friendly. You have to request your server to veganize a menu item by asking them to remove milk, cream, ghee , butter and other dairy products.
Tandoori roti is vegan.
Inquire with your server and confirm if the items ordered are vegan

Simply amazing to discover Kailash Parbat

Going to Kailash Parbat for our meet-up was a wonderful suggestion from a non-vegetarian.

It is simply amazing to discover that more and more non-vegetarians are so well aware of where to find good vegetarian cuisine in Singapore.

My first time here, I love the décor and ambience of the restaurant. We have a wonderful night chit-chatting and savouring the delicious vegetarian food. Life is great!
