Feels like home

This little fast food restaurant is located just near my office so I like to come here for lunch. They offers rice meal set which is very cheap and all are home-made. It's self-serviced. I have never tried it actually because I am not into Stir-fry dishes. They also have breakfast sets, congee, fried rice, fried noodles, rice, noodle soup and sandwiches. My favorite, however, is the stuffed "three treasure". It is stuffed eggplants, bitter melon and capsicums. The filling is made with lotus root and carrots. Although it is a bit greasy, it's very delicious!! It is a must-try of this restaurant.

One point worthy to note! They emphasized that they do not have any egg in their food however it is not sure if dairy products are used and it is not sure if the mock meat they used is vegan.

Ka Ka Lok Fast Food Shop, Hong Kong

This place offers inexpensive tasty food by nice people. The entrance is on the main road (rather than having to go into some sort of shopping mall or arcade). A bowl of very nice soup was 5 dollars. The lunch deal was 33 hkd and seemed to be serve yourself from what I could see.

One of the customers said to me that 1 or 2 evenings each month they give free dinner to the elderly customers.

They advise the don't add milk or egg products to the cooking. The mock meat though they do not guarantee as being vegan.
