Detroit Style! - Edit
Excellent Detroit style pizza. I loved every bit of it and would eat here often if I lived in the area.

No vegan options on happy hour - Edit
You can get half a pizza for $5 if you're not vegan, the cheapest option if you're vegan is way over $20 which seems really unfair. Didn't end up buying anything.

New Best Vegan Pizzas in SF! - Edit
They recently expanded their vegan options and now have 8 different vegan pizzas! Delicious Detroit style pizzas with a cheesy crispy crust. They have at least 4 different options for vegan meat substitutes which all are well seasoned and have an authentic texture. Absolutely worth a try

Best Vegan Pepperoni Pizza in the City! - Edit
Had the Primal Vegan Pepperoni at Joyride this weekend and wow! The pepperoni was salty but savory and had a nice kick to it unlike anything I've tried in the market so far. Little pricey but for what it's worth I think Joyride is making strides to make their pizzas more inclusive.

YUM - Edit
The vegan pizza is sooo good but I was disappointed when they took the option to buy 1/2 of a vegan pizza off the menu. It’s not cheap to buy the whole pizza!

Good but no place to sit and eat - Edit
Definitely good for take out but not good for eating with friends. I’m a sucker for Detroit style pizza and they were generous with the cheese!

Excellent Detroit style vegan pizza - Edit
Joyride’s vegan options include 4 pizza choices (pepperoni, sausage, ranch chicken, or cheese), but these are not your basic topping pizzas. For example, the pepperoni pizza has myopia mushrooms and a healthy slathering of feta and parmesan. The taste of everything on that slice was amazing but the dough/crust in particular will have me coming back for more.

Fantastic pizza! - Edit
The Detroit style pizza is a super fluffy focaccia crust with a little melted cheese and lots of fun toppings. We had the pepperoni buzz and the mindful chick’n & ranch and really enjoyed both. They use less common mock meats, which I found refreshing—it’s not just Impossible flavor. Next time we’ll get the “just like cheese” and add some fun toppings.
