Incredible food - Edit
Four of us went to Jardineiro for dinner—only two out of four of us are vegans. We loved everything. The mushroom risotto in particular was a standout dish as was the apple crumble dessert.

Best Vegan Restaurant ever - Edit
Thus far this is hands down the best Vegan restaurant that I have had the pleasure of eating at. I have eaten at some very good restaurants around the world the past 6 years, and this is the best. My wife had the Wellington and I had the Tripas a moda do Porto com arroz selvegem, which is the vegan version of a traditional Portuguese Tripe dish. Additionally, I had the blueberry tirimasu, which is the best that I have had outside of Italy! The service was great from greeting to exit. Simply an awesome dinner and we will return for dinner tomorrow. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Super nice restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. I only give 4 stars cause I had a "meat loaf" and I have never been to fond of "meat loaves". Super friendly staff

A bit touristy but a very good experience - Edit
We enjoyed our meal here overall. The ambience is lovely and our servers were extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered three items here: the Beetroot Carpaccio starter and the Risotto and Tofu Wellington as our main dishes. The Carpaccio and Risotto were both packed with flavor and would highly recommend. The Tofu Wellington was just okay although to be fair I'm not familiar with the original meat-based dish.
Read moreThe portion sizes were huge though, especially with the risotto, and we were barely able to finish our meal. We wanted to try their desserts as they looked delicious but even the plating for the desserts looked oversized. I suggest coming here on a very empty stomach.
Also with the price points and the overly foreign clientele, there is a slight sense that this is a restaurant that caters more to tourists which is not a slight, just something that we noticed. Overall though this is a very good restaurant, one perhaps especially suited for a special occasion.
Pros: Delicious flavors, Attentive service
Cons: Huge portion sizes, A bit pricy for Porto

This place is amazing!!! - Edit
From the food to the service, this was a fantastic experience. We paid €97 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts a glass of wine and a glass of port. I thought it was really good value for the quality of the food and the experience overall. Every dish was DELICIOUS! We didn’t leave a single crumb.

Wow! - Edit
Lots of choice on the menu. We ordered the mushrooms and beetroot dishes for starter. The mushrooms were very meaty and the cashew cheese that came with the beetroot was exceptional. For mains, we had the risotto and the loin. Again, very tasty and good portion sizes. Excellent service from very attentive waiters.

Best meal in Porto - Edit
We had such a great visit here.
Read moreGazpacho and the tortilla to start. Both had great flavour. The freshness of the tomato and the cold crunch were refreshing. The meatiness of the mushroom in the tortilla was delicious.
Main was the Wellington and the roast both were just beautiful in presentation and taste.
Pudding of tiramisu and chocolate garden filled us up and we left very happy
Pros: Full vegan food menu, Friendly staff, Quick service
Cons: Some wines were not labelled vegan.

Wow - Edit
Sadly we didn't come hungry enough to try all the meals this restaurant has to offer. We shared a starter and took two main dishes. If you ask for water you will pay a small amount and they will refill your glass without asking during the whole time you are there. The restaurant is expensive, no doubt, but it is beautiful, the service was great, atmosphere lovely and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed every bite.

Pretentious - Edit
Food is acceptable, not as gourmet as they advertise. The atmosphere and service are nicex but the food needs improvement. The desert "tiramisu" was horrible, just lots of sugar. I had a Wellington which was just ok.

Jardineiro was an amazing dining experience. The food was incredible and staff incredibly nice. We are so glad we found it! The blueberry tiramisu was a highlight. The portions are massive, so make sure you don’t order too much - we had to bring half of our main dishes home!

Probably one of the better vegan restaurant in Porto and it’s definitely a more upscale place.

Portugal is truly a vegan hot bed! Jardineiro is one the gems in this vegan friendly country. Service was so polite and efficient and the setting is lovely. The food is next level from the mushroom pate starter to the pasta and mushroom risotto. The blueberry tiramisu was incredible and beautifully presented.

We went there on my birthday to celebrate. The food was amazing, everything sounded delicious and there was a lot of choice. Had the beetroot carpaccio, celeriac tagliatelle and then blueberry tiramisu and it was outstanding. The interior is beautiful, like a garden room. The service was very attentive and well paced. Recommend for a special occasion or just as a treat!

I recommend! - Edit
We tried 3 main dishes, two of them very good!! The mushroom risoto was the best I've eaten in my life, by far!! One of the mains, the soba noodles could be much better (too much liquid and lacked taste, in my opinion). The apple crumble was fantastic!! Creme brulée was a bit disappointing. The staff is so kind and did an incredible job! Congrats!! Will come back to try other dishes, they looked very tempting. The atmosphere and decor are cozy and original.
